  1. Should be a matter of days now, I've waited for the new patch.
  2. F-111 cockpit

No problems for me to download it. http://www.schmidtwerner.de/ Products tab . Edit: yes Reason for Edit: just for fun Editing again: unlikely
  3. Yes, they do. But all pods and internal ECM systems work as individual ( self-protection ) jammer only, theres no stand-off jamming ect. edit : yes reason for edit : just for fun edit it again? : highly probable
  4. 1. no. GO AI shoots head on, regardless of seeker aspect . 2. you must add the 2nd missile as a "system" .. look for SystemNamexx= missile ... where missle 001 is.. add 002
  5. use wiki, search for the SAM type. the wiki entries usually have all the fire control and acuisition radars listed which are used by a particular SAM
  6. that entry ties the proper Fire Control radar to the specific SAM type launchers to aviod having a Straight Flush radar ( SA-6) showing up on a SA-2 site .. ect..
  7. PropMech, LOL thanks... not my invention though.. picked it up on the net
  8. only the Fan Song and Straight Flush are stock Flatface is a gap-filler until we get a Low Blow model ... cant say something on the radar data atm. SA-8L ... looks like its data is way off...
  9. no, the WOE A-10 doesnt have an internal LD ... in fact, no real A-10 does. What they do have is a small Pave Penny pod ( the stock WOE A-10A doent have this modelled) which is only a passive detector to see marked targets and aids in dropping LGB's onto them. doesnt have self-designate capacity. In the games, all primary STRIKE targets are always handled as " designated by ground forces" so that no LP is needed to use LGB against them. I dont know how the add-on A-10's are set up .. could be that they were "upgraded" .. edits in bold
  10. "good to know" ... havent played with such tests for a long time
  11. errr... I think you refer to the original A-10A mod ( 2.5) which uses avionics60 and has the "HUD" completely build into the cockpit model... and 3.0 is the updated A-10 package mod which uses avionics70 with a "real" HUD. you can move over the whole cockpit of the 2.5 bird into the 3.0 versions, including the cockpit +avionics ini and changing from avionics70 to avionics60 in the A-10x.ini time for experiments...
  12. yea, the search function is alittle tricky ... the AVQ-23 is a stock item in WOE to use it on the A-10, you must extract the A-10A_data ini and add "LP" to the AllowedWeaponClass= line of the station you want to carry the pod. to make it a default-loaded store, extract the A-10A_loadout ini and add the pod in the mission loadouts
  13. may the zoom be with you...
  14. check for double folders ?
  15. ECM (Question for US Navy Guys)

Once the programable processors showed up in the late 70's upgrades became to 80% a software change only. E.g. the APG-63 from 1982 had much better ECCM than a APG-63 of 1980. Such upgrades were nearly countinously. Faster processors can handle more code more quickly. Same thing with ECM pods.
  16. I think that jammers protect only the individual plane which is carrying it... theres no buddy or flight protection ( in v08.30.06) Re: noise the best .. dont forget the Home On Jam function which several SAM and AAM have.... wonder if that is really working though.
  17. good table! many AI radar data values int he aircraft data inis and dat ain avionic inis ( used by the player only) will have to be checked too.... since they are effected by the jammers.
  18. SAM issue

hmm.. that it usually attributed to SA-2... the SA-3 are close to medium range SAM and used for airbase protection by the NVPA .. I think the area where Showtime 100 went down is in the wrong place for a SA-3 kill. There is also talk about some MiG-21 which sneaked up and shot it down... still one of the 'mysterious' events LOL But we cant rule out SA-3 usage ... they might have attempted to "test" the system.. :D
  19. extremly cool artwork
  20. SAM issue

well SAMs and AAA are handled "litge" by the game, as are other things :D for a timeline/country specific install you have to adjust the ServiceEntry and Export dates for each Ground Object. NV had 8 Shilkas in 1972 or '73 but hey didnt see much action, if any at all. some SA-3 batteries were available in 1973 but no use in combat occured. The batteries used only the Dual Launch Ramp. SA-7 was used very actively in 1972 and got several kills agains Helo's and A-1 ect. Dont know about SA-8 and -9, would have to research that.
