    took this pic some weeks ago, it shows some of my models I build years ago in the 90's, some of them together with my brother. Not touched for years.... dust all over them... I have a whole bunch of tanks... somewhere..LOL.. and many unbuild kits: Italeri Ka-50 Tamiya Merkava I Tamiya Challenger I Tamiya Tiger I "Otto Carius" limited edition several 1/25 scale Tanks which can be fitted with R/C control SU-100 T-34/85 Panther A ( I have 2, one Tamiya with R/C thingo and one Acedemy clone without) I have the big, old Tamiya King Tiger with R/C ... scale is.. errr.... cant remember... Dragon Panther F Dragon Panther II several more Dragon figure sets ( more SEALs and Vietnam stuff ) and more things I dont know abouot anymore LOL

    Nope. The IIAF under the Shah had ordered 160 F-16A's. Then the Shah was overthrown and no F-16A was ever delivered to Iran. Instead 75 of the planes destined for Iran were delivered to Israel, which in the end made it possible to do the famous Osirak strike due to the fact that they got their F-16's two years earlier than planed.

    Marcelo, TK wrote on his forum that there wont be "real" support ( FM) for helos since that would mean much new coding, and that includes new AI routines too since helos fly different ( tactically) than fixed-wing planes. So no good news on that part :( The good thing is that there will be a flyable F-16A and Kfir C2, and both have HUDs and other modern avionics, so there's hope that we will get Ground Map radar, and more capabilities for the HUD since the Kfir C2 avionics/ HUD are different than the current F-15A HUD in function. And there are the Mirage and NEsher, which again have also specific avionics, I hope that TK does something for them too. Well we'll see... Also, most peoples ( especially those who arent playing TW games for long) forget or dont know that Third Wire is almost a one-man show, theres TK doing most of the coding and he hires a handfull of artists to build the planes, paint the stuff ect.... all with limited budget. Thats why he plans his next projects always based on the previous, so he can use as much as possibe of the planes/ objects which already exist.

I changed the amount of points needed to get promoted, that way I stay a ensign or whatever much longer.... never checked how it affects the AI pilots in a campaign ( squadron flight roster), but I guess there arent any bad effects. They probably enjoy the same delayed promotion chain as I do the promotion points are int he MISSINCONTROL.ini, FLIGHT folder, MissionData.cat... iirc.. the stock entries look like this ( for SF:P1): [PR] SR001=0 SR002=5000 SR003=12000 SR004=25000 SR005=40000 SR006=75000 SR007=120000 SR008=160000 SR009=240000 SR010=360000 MR001=0 MR002=5 MR003=10 MR004=20 MR005=30 MR006=50 MR007=70 MR008=90 MR009=120 MR010=150 I guess that SR = Soldiers Rank MR = Mercenary Rank I haven't figured out why the MR values are lower, it could be that a different modifier is used by the game for them. No idea. I know that if I double the SR values it takes longer to get promoted, since I need twice as many points.
