  5. ah yea... while converting the stock LAU-105 rack, increase the LoadLimit to 150 kg ... already done int he data postwed by FastCargo above... slammers are heavier than SW's
  6. ohhh yessss.....it is. there is no stock dual AHM rail in game.... of course... how to do... 1. make a copy of the stock LAU-105 dual irm rail 2. rename the the type and full name to whatever you like , e.g LAU-105AHM ( the type name is used for preset loadouts int he RackType= line inthe loadout.ini) 3. change the rack type from 2IR to 2AR. 4. Save. in the plane data.ini, make sure the AllowedWeaponClass= Line has the AHM and 2AR entries. The hornet pic in the thread linked above is using exactly this, but I used the old DRA_IRM rack lod since no stock LAU-105 was available back then

  11. Shrikes use a targeting system, even back in the 60's. Aircraft used foe SEAD were modified, they usually have extra antennas for the targeting system. the info (transmitting radars )was displayed on the radar scope, and the pilot could "point" a Shrike seeker to a specific target by assigning it to the missile ( basically works the same way as locking a radar target). Depends also on the missile version ect. very hard to get reliable info on that stuff.
  12. HUD squiggly line

The "squiggly line" is the snapshot sight . The line itself is the "Continuously Computed Impact Line - CCIL" The 3 little bars crossing it are the Bullet Impact Point for a bullet time of flight of 0.8, 1.0 and 1.5 seconds ... ( IIRC...) without radar lock ( for a fixed range ). With radar lock the actual impact point is computed on the line too ( a small circle ). It's a historic sight. Israeli Pilots like it alot , got kills with it in 1982 and apparently prefer it over the new EEGS ( info from forums on the internet, e.g. www.f-16.net). No guarantee that I got all that tech things correct .... LOL
  13. too bad that AI gunners engage only air targets for now......... ;)
