  2. The article states that the F-35 is to replace the A-10 ! How does it fill in for the Warthog ? With the A-Stan experience hasn't the A-10 once again come into light as a must have for CAS and CO-IN ops ? What comparable firepower does it have to replace the A-10 ?

    The SR-71. Even by todays standards it still looks futuristic. I think the head on shots makes it look its most potent. Also, looks like something Batman would fly !

  25. Anyone here know if with the latest patched version of SFP1 there is a file which controls how often and just how many "static" aircraft are generated on an airfield ? If so which entry would adjust the number of a/c for an airfield or does that also depend on the size of the airbase. Reason I ask is that I just installed a clean SFP1 patched it to the latest patch level and installed over 40+ a/c but rarely see any aircraft showing up as static. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks in advance.
