  2. Ecuadorian Air Force HAL Dhruv crashes

Well, one crash leading them to say that the chopper is flawed seems kind of scapegoat like. As to bribes I wouldn't be suprised but then there's always flatulent "talk" of bribes with quite a few military deals. Bet some of the members here who work in the defence industry would agree. The Dhruv has proved itself with the IAF for a while now and the fact that the pilots walked away does credit to the chopper.
  3. Good Stuff as always. Thanks !
  4. Ecuadorian Air Force HAL Dhruv crashes

  7. Really sharp looking 21(s).
  8. Truly very sad news. May he rest in Peace. May his family and loved one's find the strength to deal with such a tragic loss.
  9. Dassaults Assault

Which is shadowed by the very high cost of operating U.S aircraft(s) for example one only need to look at the very high cost of flight hour for the F-16,18 and the EF. The Gripen seems to have the lowest cost for a Western a/c per flight hour.
  10. Dassaults Assault

Yep. Remember reading all about that, sad really, would've loved to see what the Viggen would've looked like in the IAF camo scheme.
  11. Dassaults Assault

Agree. The Gripen is/would be a great choice for the IAF but, since it uses U.S engines, I suspect the Indians are a bit cautious of possible U.S embargos on their tech be it license built if the Indians were to (very likely) go to war with Pakistan in response to an attack, depending on which country the administration of the day is in favour of ! Just my 0.02 cents.
  12. So while browsing the WWII axis and allies a/c section I noticed that a/c's like the FW-190A-5 and 8 were only completely available in something called Wolf's WWII a/c pack anyone here know where that is ? Cant seem to locate it. Or has Wolf left CA and the pack(s) have been removed since ? Or is there a url from where WWII buffs can download this pack from. Thanks in advance. EDIT:- Uummm....or should I be posting this in the Prop heads section ?
