Yep, it's the V4. Did some driving in your Ford too, not a 20M but a 17M with indeed a V4 engine. Sounded rather rough in the SAAB though. What they should do at SAAB in my opinion is make a retro SAAB 96 (something like the New Beetle)....... Will miss the 2T though, , very smooth like a 6 cylinder,sounded like a jet engine at high revs, reminded me off the airplane roots of the car. I still have the logo right here in my room with the name SAAB superimposed over a twin engine plane..... Hou doe, Derk

Hey Henrik, Now that IS nice, my first two cars, great fun they were... (though for the connaisseur : those two models are 4 strokes and I had 2 strokes, even more fun, especially with some holes in the exhaust system........) Why didn't they take Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin, Mao , Pol Pot, Osama BL, Ahmedinejadh and some more crooks like that as pilots and officers. That would really have given it a touch of reality... OK, there is some flying by real F4's and F5's, a Phantom landing on a road and the Sukhoi's and Migs on the ground were nice dummies but for the rest it is lousy fake with third rank effects and some airshow footage.... Typical stuff for primitive propaganda aimed at idiots. The only thing I really like is that all the equipment is made in the US of A, the archenemy....... Hou doe, Derk

In the light of the upcoming defence cuts this batch of MLU's wont be the last one I'm afraid. My guess is that Leeuwarden AFB will be closed and one or two F16 squadrons disbanded, leaving just about 54 F 16's if not even less. Chile and / or Jordania or whoever can have the rest Replacement (if any) will in my opinion be 36 F 35's at the most , to be concentrated at Volkel AFB. We are still experiencing the effects of the outbreak of peace with the fall of communism 20 years ago and as a consequence completely blind to a lot of things that are happening in the world....
