Years ago a friend of mine invited me when he had to qualify on the KLM Airbus A 310 and we did touch & go's at Lille Seclin the whole afternoon. Plane got lighter and lighter , must have burned more than 20 tons of fuel (out of a total of 38 tons) , no passengers, no luggage, resulting in quite steep take off's in the end..... -

Just 3 and 2 years ago we were waving goodbye at Schiphol to our 2 daughters, on their way to Australia for their gap year after having finished their school........ More than 150 Dutch passengers aboard this time, including for sure a lot of backpacking youngsters, also on their way ...... It could have been our kids, my wife is in tears.......

Patrick Tuit - former KLu F-16 demo pilot- went home with the prize for the best demo, nice to hear that so many enjoyed his show and that it was appreciated by the professionals. The Dutch Hawker Hunter Foundation is something we are proud of !!!!!
