SF2: North Atlantic
Gr.Viper replied to Dave's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Knowledge Base
Locked onto six at once but got no hits. Intercepting Kitchen is like shooting flying buckshot using a blowpipe loaded with live bumblebees. -

Behind me is only ruin. Also a Yak, firing the burst that shot me down. Hell, yeah. 2 1000-pounders. run. Mission report said the target wasn't damaged. -

I just took 16 A-4Bs to Kiev. Planted about 3 750-lb irons in the radar dishes, caused a fire. Got shot down on egress by some very long range green tracer gun, ejected, captured. New run, put 10 Snakeyes in the island and below the deck. Crashed on egress. -
Call to Soviet Cockpit 3d Modders: Yak-38
Gr.Viper replied to streakeagle's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
There's a separate Yak-38 mod project in development, I think the pit is a part of it. -

If you suffer fps drop with terrain in sight, drop horizon distance in the graphics options. Helps a little but terrain rendering is still the framerate killer. -

Voice acting sound more like an address to the community "Guys, even you can do it!" Big bombers arrive from the edge of the map. The campaign isn't going well. Then again, no one expected Soviet tanks to do this Collateral damage? You bet! -

Oh, unused missiles go back into the stores. Nice, I won't run out of Phoenixes encountering only Beards during CAP. -

Kiev's catapult is dead. Anyone noticed that A-7E 74 RWR doesn't react to at least one of SAM radar types used by the Soviet fleet? Took Tomcat for a spin. Recovered at 2000m, but then the game froze as I exited the mission. -

Don't know how useful it is to you guys, but a DAZ 3D is having a short giveaway of $800 worth of their 3d software. http://www.daz3d.com/i/0/0? Hexagon seems like the basic small and cute 3D modeling tool (with export to 3d studio). The rest is of little use here. -
So, Russia is willing to sell 48 Su-35 planes to China... on condition that China won't copy it Googtranslated (Ignore "b" everywhere. It's "Ъ" - the short name of the publication) http://translate.google.ru/translate?sl=ru&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=ru&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kommersant.ru%2Fdoc%2F1887462&act=url

Well, they either sell a large batch to China and endure copies on the market, or sell a smaller batch to a different party, which will resell to China, and the copies will still arrive on the market.
