  1. Remember how, if you arrive for CAS and AS early, you had to fly around in circles waiting for the targets to spawn right in from of you? Not anymore. You can unload half of your ordnance on advancing tanks before they even make contact with your troops. Ships seem to spawn either at range on when you hit the "approaching target" waypoint - not sure on that one, more tests needed.
  2. Are any of those landing craft?
  3. TK ignored my question about water injection on Harrier
  4. You can knock out Binder's engine with one missile. Or a lucky burst. Badgers now only rarely turn into flying torches - mostly get engine fires.
  5. That was my first question. He answered that WEP simply becomes unavailable when used up. The bombers fall beautifully now. Just saw a Badger lose a wing due to stress spinning after a missile tore half of its tail off.
  6. *throws banana peels at the cool autopatcher kids* Hey, it helped. TK fixed the download.
  7. Post in TK's patch release thread. Maybe he hasn't gone to sleep yet. According to the size reported on the download page this patch is about 30Mb larger that the September one.
  8. They've got Gaddaffi

So, can they pump the oil quietly now?
  9. Just put FlyAll to TRUE in game's Options.ini and any plane will be available for single missions with A-4 pit. But the file says "MiG-17Fcockpit"?
  10. Dennis Ritchie died

The man behind Unix and C programming language passed away last weekend. Sadly, the world was too preoccupied with the death of a better promoted persona to notice. http://www.computerworlduk.com/news/operating-systems/3310655/unix-and-c-creator-dennis-ritchie-dies http://boingboing.net/2011/10/12/dennis-ritchie-1941-2011-computer-scientist-unix-co-creator-c-co-inventor.html

  14. Who wants some games? http://goodplay.org/index.php Essentially they borrowed the model of the Humble Indie Bundle: you donate (or not) - you get games. Only instead of a kid-aimed charity this is a "support our (US) troops" one. Unfortunately the games on offer are not in any way hyped or incredibly good, so the figures aren't that impressive.
  15. A way to make a cabriolet

The wing looks like it doesn't give a damn. Makes you think what junk the cars are made of.

  19. Virus strikes US's UAVs.

Awesome, we'll know the APM of an average drone jokey.
  20. Admiral Lord West

Awesome. He's just like that military nut from Monty Python sketches.
  21. That's 6 million unique games bought and downloaded by users in three years.
