Bomb on plane disarmed 17 mins before detonation
Gr.Viper replied to UK_Widowmaker's topic in The Pub
They should mail bombs to Holywood for more dramatic disarming. -
Yeah, that's what I was thinking - hanguns, rifles, early dogfights without mounted weapons.. Before that barbaric machine gun was taken into the air.

Might be more there http://www.yfrog.com/froggy.php?username=GeneralVu Most normal people manage to set up their game expos in the humane months of the year. In Russia early Novermber is fine.

The teaser of the next update says we'll be able to shoot enemy pilots with the flare gun. Awesome, but I'll still wait for the Career update.

Couple of questions for a Novice
Gr.Viper replied to RedShooter's topic in Thirdwire - First Eagles 1&2
1. Yup, last one to score a hit on the plane gets the credit. Quite a common rule in sims, by the way. 2. The can appear, although it may take a while. Will lack skill too. Best way to save people is to have all-squadron flights. 3. Hits are rare, there is no shrapnel damage, but if it hits the plane if finished. 4. 1 kill with N/A weapon means he rammed someone by accident. Collisions happen. 5. Aces either are either preset at the start of the campaign or appear after five kills. Although, I think, historical aces were first introduced in FE2. -
They have a chance to develop the topic with buddy tanking.

To provide TK with better sales of Tomcat?

Probably the same thing but while having a smoke and a pizza.

It's so stealthy they've lost their own position. The "undedected" part didn't work that well, did it? One wrong click and you're in Vladivostok instead of La Rochelle.

Fruit picker jailed for shining laser pen into RAF fighter pilot's eyes
Gr.Viper replied to Erik's topic in CombatACE News
Exact angle is required for a complete block, but partial filtering works at other angles a well. The question is what % of 360° on average provides enough shielding to prevent flaring and blindness. -

How's the guy going to know which way to rotate or which way his pointer is polarized? We're still talking about the man in the street, not special forces, right? -

Can't a polarizing screen be used to block at least a part of laser emission? -
fps "cycle" periodically
Gr.Viper replied to stingray77's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Actually fps jumping up and down several times per second in 2nd gen has been mentioned previously a few times, in FE2 forums as well. -

AI Aircraft vs SAMS
Gr.Viper replied to Nicholas Bell's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Until they get bloodlust when they make a U-turn after warping to home base and head back to take a shot at that AAA that dared to look at them. -
How to adjust altitude that *certain* aircraft perfer to fly at..
Gr.Viper replied to exhausted's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
TW mostly uses metric system in data. If only Red Crown could be switched too. -
Эмм.. радикально. А как же клевые скриншоты с бомбами? Вынес тот пост в соседнюю тему.

Gaaah! It's exactly the kind of thing I need. Having the price of the kit provided in the review would've been more convenient. Had to visit the website, liked the price (a pair of TIR kits), but the nearest dealer is a bit too far from my place.

Modern sims tend to be modular. DCS, SF2, RoF. Combat-Helo and Jet Thunder follow the lead. So first they sell the never before seen Harrier simulation (which was the only thing the project was aiming to be originally) to the fans of the British planes, get more money and finish their work on the following modules. Then South America comes in and gets the new plane modules (I want that Pucara badly) and the sim with the worst bugs already ironed out by the Brits Remember, our time is the age of complex projects when first users can be eqally envied and pitied.
