If Thud's brakes could be modded to divert part of the exhaust forward... and the wings were able to rotate 360°, thus including forward sweep mode... and the pilot had more glass than metal around... Hmm. -

Once I lost a wingman on F-15A to a MiG-27. The mud mover simply put a burst of GSh-6-30 up the titanium alloy rear. Now that must've hurt. The idea of adding TV to F-105 is scary I mean, what good can it do for that arrowhead airframe -

Dave, gun group selection key is yout friend. Works on 2+2 guns of F-8, 1+1 gun of Kfir (that one even has gun LEDs in cockpit) and whatever gun pods you put on. Oh, and if you stick a pit in stock F-84F you'll see guns split into 3 groups, I think. -

A perfect AIM-9B launch in the game means perfect distance, letting the seeker to growl for a second or two, flying level, getting the target the moment it stops maneuvering and tries to regain energy in level flight. That way you get at least 50% efficiency. -

The SAMs are severely undermodeled, so is flak. Firing patterns are off, launches are weird, no tricks are used, warheads are wrong, sites are fixed, no FC radars for AAA etc etc... A realistic air defence setup in SF2V would mean you sweat from the moment you enter the North to the moment you leave. Funny how so many things are undermodeled but we all play it. -

You're flying a sim with simplified damage modeling and limited control over wingmen. Can't use A-6 as group high altitude CCIP either. So you're spending more time low and alone with ground targets on a plane that's not protected against machine guns. -
Вышла-таки после нескольких фальстартов. http://www.thirdwire.com/project_sf2i.htm Попутно пропатена как минимум Европа: у Харриеров появился впрыск воды на висении (правда, бесконечный), а для A-7D появились кампании. По традиции это, думаю, выйдет и отдельным бесплатным патчем.

I once saw a mantis dine on a dragonfly. Observed the whole process from the capture to the moment the tail of the prey disappeared in the mouth. Yum!

Ahh.. I wish I could remember. Saw it long time ago in cats of the first-gen sims. It was one of the general use inis. Contained a list of all nations with their training level. Guns are an option. After one pass in which a Fresco almost scratched the paint job on the belly of my F-8 with its tail I said "***k it", pretended my guns jammed and headed home. Had similar epiphany after a Farmer decided he can go head on on me in the vertical. And he DID and knocked leading edge off the left wing of my F-100, after which I barely remembered to pull out of dive. Well, you can't disappoint your publisher -

TW engine has a file that determines skill levels of various AF. Normaly MiG-ed sides have lower skill preset that the US. Sometimes much lower. Uh-huh.. In my experience with it every single head-on merge ended with a head-on collision. Well, unless one of us had enough guns to vaporize the other before that moment. SF2 head-on passes are much more thrilling - I'm less scared of the war face and more interested in reaction speed on the AI, sometimes they pull the trigger too late. BTW, I've seen AI Thuds getting gun kills on Frescos in SF2:V. Mainly on the Frescos who decided to stop maneuvering and fly straight regaining speed. -
I assume, that's after merge with a MiG.

I used to sleep in a room full of common home spiders for a month... It was very refreshing to wake up at night and discover a few them crossing the sheets - when the larger ones are walking over you they tickle! Hard to sleep under that massage.

That pic is so cute! Copperheads are vipers so I kinda feel close to them Oh, wiki says they're pit vipers which is even better. Can't go wrong with an extra IR sensor.
