Watched all 4 hours and I can actually say I was impressed. I'm dissapointed that they didn't stay closer to the plot line of the original movie, and honestly, I've never read the actual book....so my thoughts are limited to new vs. old movie. I believe that the wormhole things and sending messages back from the future was a little stupid and could have been left out, but it didn't distract me from the movie of today. I do believe that they should have canned that part and stuck to the original more concerning the nature of the Andromeda Strain. Overall, if you haven't seen the original, or read the book.....you will still enjoy this version of the movie. Fates

Watched the movie this morning.....Big thumbs up from me. Once again we have another adaptation of a Marvel Super Hero....but this one, IMHO, has got to be about the best I've seen. Be prepared to sit thru the creation of Iron Man himself for most of the movie, but without the extensive buildup, all the sequels would be worthless. And there will be sequels. Fates

We have a Runway with NO Stripper Pole.

Insane. I never take a runway with another inbound unless I'm given permission to take off. I will never land, or be on final approach with another aircraft on the runway. When I'm given permission to land, or takeoff, the runway is mine and mine alone. I can't count the times that I've landed and been asked to expedite Alpha1 taxiway to assist another plane on approach. Nope....I generally piss everyone off and putz on down to the last taxiway. My runway is my runway. I wonder if he logged that landing in his flight log? M

Tiscali Games has ShakyCam™ videos showing off a presentation of ArmA II by Bohemia Interactive at an event to show off their military shooter sequel. The quality of the clips shot off the monitors is so-so, as is the audio, but the developer commentary is in English (the site itself is Czech), so if you are interested in this game, your patience with these shortcomings should be rewarded.

Just got me a new Diamondback and at 38 Years Old, I started riding again. I used to ride 10-15 miles 2-3 time a week (back in my late teens, early 20's), so yesterday I thought I had the nads to ride 20 miles......wound up doing 30 miles in 3 hours. Loved it. can't wait to ride some more, and I can't wait to travel a little to places within reach to ride trails wherever. Do you have a favorite place to ride...let me know. Here's mine: http://www.indygreenways.org/trails-maps.htm Here's my bike:

That time of year again. I'm looking at getting a new bike geared more for the off-road trails. The DB is a hybrid and great for paved and limestone trails, but not a true mountain bike. Pipe in if you have any advice. Looking at getting one of the following: Trek Series-6 http://www.trekbikes.com/int/en/bikes/2008...6_series/6300e/ IronHorse Warrior

When you guys get bored of rFactor....try this. Bus Driver is all about driving buses. In Bus Driver, your job is to transport passengers around an attractive and realistic city. You must drive to a timetable on a planned route, while obeying traffic rules, and taking care not to upset or injure your passengers. This makes Bus Driver unlike any other driving game - the experience of driving a bus is very different from blazing through a racing circuit. * 12 buses to drive – detailed models inspired by real-world buses, including London’s double-decker bus, America’s school bus, Europe’s low floor buses and many more * 30 routes arranged into 5 tiers with increasing difficulty * Multiple duties, such as driving a school bus, transporting tourists, sight-seeing tours and even the transportation of prisoners * High replay value based on sophisticated system of traffic rules and game-play related bonuses. * Large city to drive in, with several districts of varying styles: modern, old-town, suburb, airport, harbor and more with day/night cycles and realistic weather conditions. * Living roads with intelligent traffic controlled by AI system * Non-violent, easy to pick up gameplay, suitable for all ages. http://www.meridian4.com/games/BusDriver/index.html

I would say it more like a PG-10+. There is a brief scene with Tony Stark telling a reporter he'd like to spend 2 minutes in bed with her....then it shows the bedroom scene for about 4 seconds...other then that...yes. PG would have been too much and G would have been to little.

Do "They", the modders, need a central place to start hosting the mods? Would be more then happy to accomodate.

Which Sci-Fi film would you like to see made ?
Fates replied to Syrinx's topic in Sci-Fi Simulations
I would actually enjoy a TV Series on this one. Not a cartoon....but a modern day Drama much like BSG. The Yamato would kick series ass. Check this: http://www.fanboy.com/2006/12/ultimate_sta...zers_model.html -

Yeah....the frustrating part is you don't have a glass floorboard to see the track sometimes.. Was playing the other night and it seemed like I was in a Drifter car.....couldn't get anything to bite in the sand. Fates
