  2. I do feel sad for the crew, even when they are not to blame for it.
  3. I guess I should add stripes (as in 'Wing ID stripes') to my 'I don't want to do THAT' list. Which puts the D-Day markings on the back burner. But it's still good enough so that I can release ETO skin soon...
  4. I hate to say it, but that had to happen some day. Well, at least nobody got hurt.
  5. USS Kitty Hawk for the Indian Navy?

Well, the SuperHornet is the last fighter they build themselves. They lost both the ATF and JSF contracts, they no longer seem to have a monopoly with regard to tanker aircraft, so the future doesn't look too bright for them. On the other hand it's obvious that the US government doesn't really want that Boeing leaves the game completely.
  6. Hint: WOE begins 1955, those aircraft are only active around 1945. You need to alter the service years. How? Look it up in the knowledge base.
  7. Nope, not a PR9. I have to admit that my current schedule doesn't include a BoB skin, because I'm not in the mood to work on those decal positions right now. But that shouldn't be read as a definite 'no'.
  8. Well done! A question about the gundata, though: Why are the values for reliabilty and accuracy set to '0.000000' ?
  9. Hello there! I'm currently working on a few Spitfire skins, but to work properly they do require an edited squadronlist. Since I want to make the install as simple as possible it would be nice for me to know whether you have an edited squadronlist (read: with additional units added) or not. I'm asking this question because I do remember to have read not only that some members here have edited their squadronslist, but also that the SF and WOV/WOE squadronlists are different. That reminds me, I do not have SF, thus I would be nice if someone who has it could tell me how many units the SF squadronlist contains. I may be wrong here, but it seems to me that no other 3rd party skin does make use of the squadronlist at all, thus I would not be surprised if some here do not even know what it does or where it's located. Please participate in the poll even when you have no interest in downloading the skins I'm currently working on. Furthermore, if you have edited your squadronlist, please post here how many units your list does contain now. Thank you for your attention!
  10. TK has already said that he intends to release Vista versions of his games in the near future.
  11. Identify this Spitfire version. (Note: Yes, that's the Mk IA model, but it isn't a Mk I. Also, ignore the radio equipment. Focus on the paint scheme)
  12. Try simmerspaintshop.com...I found a number of them in their downloads section section. One of them will grace my Soviet Spitfire skin. Thanks for the tip, Wrench!
  13. According to CNN the pilots have been rescued.
  14. The Last Falcon?

They will have as much to say about it as India had when the US sold F-16s to Pakistan.
  15. Space Hulk

    Cool.
  16. It sounds like TK rebuilt the WOI's object.cat, so you might have to extract several (if not all) files from the WOV/WOE object.cat before copying the stock aircraft. Either that or you would have create a new one. But don't ask me how that would be done...
  17. If you merge the squadronlists (I wonder whether TK did a new one for WOI) you would have to rename several decals, too. And that's were the real fun begins.
  18. LOL! Now that is one funny skin.
  19. Exactly. With regard to the skins I have uploaded it doesn't really matter which number is assigned to a squadron, but you have to rename the decals yourself in order to get the proper squadroncode.
  20. I have come to accept that basically everyone has a different squadronlist. This isn't really a problem, but it sure does require some attention when one adds the squadrons. As an example (from my readme for the High Altitude scheme): [squadronXAX] Name=124RAF DisplayName=No. 124 Squadron Nation=RAF [squadronXBX] Name=131RAF DisplayName=No. 131 Squadron 'County of Kent' Nation=RAF You add these squadrons to your squadronlist and [squadronXAX] becomes [squadron123]. Now you have to open the decal folder and search for the tga file name RAF_sqXAX and rename it to RAF_sq123. That's how it works. I don't find this to be very difficult, but others may have a different opinion...you never know.
