Status Update By Razbam Sims Important announcement, RAZBAM closing down the Strike Fighter series production line: Gents I just took the decision to close down our Strike Fighter series production line, as you may have noticed we haven´t produced anything in the last 2 years for these series and it´s mainly due to the lack of stability on the platform with new updates regularly that modifies sensible stuff within the sim.Our move into DCS leaves us with little to no time to devote to other platforms, and our current FSX schedule give us even little more.I tried to covert some of our latest model into the sim, with bad results.The lack of a "Strike Fighters" devoted developers into our team also pushed the decision forward. I´m grateful of the number of friends, supporters and collaborators i´ve met during this 4 yrs run, and cherish each one of them. You´re a strong community keeping alive a set of simulators with more than 10 yrs old technology with such passion, that i vow to you guys, there is such talent within your ranks, that i personally think, you´re the rightful owners of it, going beyond the original author, and improving it each day.Absolutely all our Strike Fighter series source files will be deleted, and i´ll run a final "get them all in one package" sale pretty soon, and then they´ll be deleted as well, and wont be available anymore.Once again, thanks for the support, we had a great run! ..and see you, eventually, in DCS skies (because i know you´re not into civilian simulators)

I have touched his aircraft the the museum and felt its greateness. Not many people know about his turning off the RWR equipment. When and if he ever used was to turn on for a few seconds to see what was out there then turn "that damn noisy thing off" as he said.

12 July 2013 - DCS News Update This past week we have primarily been debugging DCS ver. 1.2.5. Progress is being made and it is still our hope to have it released before the end of this month. This is quite a large update, so naturally it is taking longer to debug than the earlier, smaller updates. Other parts of our team are working on new elements for Combined Arms. Two of many new features includes a radar display for radar-guided air defense systems and more realistic fire control systems for armored units. I've attached an early work in progress image of the new radar display. To better support new title like UH-1H and the upcoming Mi-8MTv2 helicopters, we are also developing the means for infantry to load and unload from them. We believe this will add a whole new level of game play for those modules. Our effect artists are busy improving many effects for both their visual appeal and performance. As mentioned last week, one example are new wing tip vortices. As more are completed, I will be sure to post them in future updates. My installs have been fine for a long time now. When I do find something wrong, it is 99% on my end. And of course always I back up, back up, back up. Just did it before I left for work.

I have Stary's effects and environmental mods; I am running Ravenclaws and my own weps packs. I have 418 aircraft installed. I am running North Cape, Desert 3, Green Hell, Stary's Germany and Israeli updates Persian Gulf, Black Sea, Formosa and DBS terrains. I am running SZ's speech mod and Home Fries Top Gun menu music.
