  1. We can't accurately simulate an AESA radar in this sim. Lord knows we have tried. I think Fubar512 came up with a method of getting one close but he would have to verify that.
  2. BS, we got tons of skins of their aircraft here. You can upload it here for others to enjoy. Mppd for example just released a Hurricane skin pack. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=7940 So don't worry about that.
  3. Not sure if they were from KI or not. I saw a few from a number of units. I sure do miss that base.
  4. We were stationed at Wurtsmith from 1981 to 1983 then from 1988 to 1991. Wurtsmith is where I met my wife. (in high school) I can tell you my dad took me out many times to the flight line to see what birds were sitting on the ramps. It where I saw my first 101s and 106s. My in laws still live in Oscoda.
  5. I got my info from actual Voodoo manuals at the USAF Museum.
  6. Its the MG-13 FCR which replaced the MG-11 FCR (which totally sucked and wasnt SAGE capable). Further improvements gave the MG-13 a max range of 60 miles. The problem with this is that not all of them got the update at the same time. So the B model you were tasked to fly might have the weaker -13.

  8. The scenario. You get one install of a 3rd Wire sim. So which sim? You only get to install 3, 3rd party aircraft. You get 2, 3rd party non aircraft mods. You get only 1, 3rd party terrain. So what do you choose?

  10. This guy is the firm rock behind the 3rd Wire modding seen. Otto has a keen eye for every little detail and turns great mods into awesome mods. Always ready to help out and a good person to talk to when you need someone too. Happy Birthday Otto!

    44% Dixie. Barely in Yankeedom. Lived 18 years total in Texas. Also lived in Michigan, California, South Dakota, Massachusetts, Illinois, Wyoming and Turkey. Live of an AF Brat and being in the USAF too.
  22. 379TH BW Wurtsmith AFB, Oscoda, Mi. We were stationed there twice. From 1981 to 1983 and from 1988 to 1991. Met Sheila (my wife) and went to high school there from part of my freshman year to middle of my senior year. (The 2nd time we were there.) Then my dad got orders to Elmendorf. My in laws still live in Oscoda. Reason you look like Yoda you do?

  25. Sick to death of WWII sims. Besides if you want a Battle of Britain fix you need to buy Battle of Britain II. You cant get out of WOE what you can get out of Battle of Britain II.
