That is because that 1.3 version hasnt been updated for use in SF2. So there are many thing broke with it in SF2.

Eric Those weps I sent you, you have to set them just like that. Also when doing that make sure the model names matches whats in the data.ini, make sure you do not have too many dashs in the weapon. The new weapon format is very senstive to naming conventions.

God I hate Ace Combat 6 comparisons. The 2 aren't even close. The AI in the current builds are awesome. Much better than 2 /2 years ago. Damn good point.

If you look at the main aircraft ini after you try to run it in the old sim, you will see it is blank. I think and this is a guess since I am am not at home to look, you need to put that back in there for it to work.

No, just you. Actually I leave the stock planes with my merged install (I have 3rd party planes in it too). But with my SF2:V Vietnam install I have TMF F-8's and A-7's in it.

You would think TK would see that too. I can understand his work load but I think this would be worth his time fix. It only been broke since the sim came out almost 7 years ago. I hardly think I am asking for much. I mean it a feature he put in that is broke. Maybe I am missing something. But if you all would like to see this fixed maybe you can back me up in that thread.

The RF-111A was to have been a tactical reconnaissance version of the F-111A with additional avionics and camera installations in the weapons bay. It was authorized on December 3, 1965. One pre-production F-111A (63-9776) was converted as a prototype for the RF-111A and first flew on December 17, 1967. Imagery testing of the converted F-111A took place between December 1967 and October 1968 achieved fairly good results, indicating that the RF-111A might make a good reconnaissance aircraft. The Defense Department had hoped that the conversion from F-111A to RF-111A configuration could be done in the field in only a few hours, with the reverse conversion being just as simple and straightforward. The RF-111A would of been capable of bombing missions as it kept that capability just without the use of the bomb bay. However, the conversion turned out to be much more cumbersome than expected, taking several days to complete rather than just a few hours. These difficulties caused the Air Force to cancel the whole RF-111A program. The sole prototype is now on display at Mountain Home AFB in Idaho.

Now back on topic, I would very much like to fly Wolf257's excellent P-51, with Pappy awesome WWII skins for it and the Avhistory FM. That is a winning combo. I used all the 1% FM back in my CFS days.
