I got a news flash for you, the A Team's register to download is no different than here. At CA you have to register to download. And you can be denied access just like the A Team. Now you are right about modders being sensitive. Bort created some works of art. But as a modder you have to take the good with the bad. If you put something out there expect someone to critique it. The wrong thing to do is get upset over it, provided the critique was put in a mature and rational manner and not "Hey this planes sucks." I have seen some thin skinned over mods before but takes the cake. He didn't want any feedback for his stuff unless it was positive. He jumped on people who were trying to help him. Then he would run over to his blog and attack the people trying to help him. That is something I do not understand. If he didn't want people to say anything about his work, he shouldn't release his work. I think he will be back when he cools down if not his files will be abandonware and that would be a shame.

You delete the weapondata.dat not, the weaponsdata.ini file. Unzip the weps, make sure they are in a folder called weapons and put that in your objects folder. Also make sure any all all effects are put into the affects folder. If there is bulletobject.ini and a missileobject.ini make sure those are in your objects folder, and not in the weapons folder. OK after you get this far open the weps editor and here is something I do, open any weapon with the editor, then close it , hit save, then close the editor. Then go try it. I will be getting ready to go on duty but will hang around to see if it worked. Good luck

Just by adding a squadron though doesn't mean it will add the tail code for you. The tail codes you are going to have to make yourself. But if you did that entry right it does show up as a selectable squadron just you won't have any tail codes. You just have to find it in the list. My squadronlist is almost 400 entries. So I know it works.

Did you check the numbering of where you drop tanks are in the weapondatat.ini? Have you opened the weapondata.ini in the wep editor?
