  3. Hey, what do you guys think about building a cockpit out of something like this..... http://www.mameworld.net/massive/How-to/Ca...inisterseat.pdf It is inteded for use as a sit down MAME cabinet, but I think could easily become a flight sim 'pit
  4. Well, I thought I had hex edited all there was to edit...I am a little rusty with the old hex program, so it is very possible I missed something. How many entries for the bmp is in the LOD?
  5. God Zur....please don't get him started again....

Show off! Looks great though! (hangs head in 3 parts shame of own dinky setup mixed briskly with 1 part jealousy)
  7. My guess is a F4D Skyray and a Cessna 182
  8. Yeah, clicked "save"....I followed the knowledge base to a T. If I knew what went wrong, I wouldn't have had to post here asking for help!
  9. I am trying to make gas tanks for my Tomcats. I have most of em painted, but I cannot figure out the weapons editor. Everytime I go through the steps in the knowledge base, I end up with no weapons at all. Any help would be most appreciated
  10. Haha.... (throws stapler at HrntFixr behind the desk)
  11. I suddenly got a huge geek-chubby
  12. Cool! I have been thinking about doing something like this using some plans I found for a sit down arcade cabinet. BTW...what's the printer for?
  13. abandon what? I deny abandoning the confirmation of the denial.
  14. File Name: VF-111 Sundowners - decals for flaps File Submitter: paul.nortness File Submitted: 9 Jun 2007 File Category: F-14 This is a quick fix for the decals on the VF-111 Sundowners flaps. Simply extract this to the F-14A folder and you will see the correct numbers on the flaps for the aircraft you are flying. Click here to download this file
  15. I am selling custom arcade cabinets. These arcade cabinets are PC based, so you can play anything you can on a PC. I run MAME, Virtual Pinball as well as a few PC games on these guys. Doom on one of these things are a blast! As mentioned, these are custom cabinets. So no one is like the other. Whether you are looking for a replica Pac Man cabinet or a generic cabinet for playing MAME, just ask. Because of the custom nature of these cabinets, pricing depends on what you want. I can include trackballs, lightguns, spinners, just about anything you can think of. Shoot me a PM for details
  16. File Name: VF-111 Sundowners File Submitter: paul.nortness File Submitted: 8 Jun 2007 File Updated: 25 Jul 2007 File Category: F-14 This is a repaint of my VF-111 Sundowners skin for the F-14A. This skin features accurate markings for the CAG and line aircraft. The CAG's aircraft carried the infamous "Miss Molly" on the nose, which is present on this skin To use this skin, simply extract the VF111 folder to your F-14A directory. Start up your thirdwire game of choice, load up the Tomcat, and select "VF-111 Sundowners" in the loadout screen. If you wish to fly Miss Molly, make sure you select modex 200 Textures provided by Marcelo from MarcFighters Happy hunting. Click here to download this file
  17. File Name: VF-1 Wolfpack File Submitter: paul.nortness File Submitted: 8 Jun 2007 File Updated: 25 Jul 2007 File Category: F-14 This is a repaint of my VF-1 Wolfpack skin for the F-14A. This skin features accurate markings for the CAG, XO and line aircraft as shown shortly before the squadron was disestablished in 1992. To use this skin, simply extract the VF1 folder to your F-14A directory. Start up your thirdwire game of choice, load up the Tomcat, and select "VF-1 Wolfpack" in the loadout screen. If you wish to fly the CAG or XO, make sure you select 100 or 101. The other modex are lo viz line aircraft. Textures provided by Marcelo from MarcFighters Happy hunting. 18. I will confirm Zurawski's confirmation of the denial
  19. Check out the way the skins are named in the default A-4E folders....the bitmaps are just named "A-4_Nose.bmp"....Don't put an E.......
  20. Give me some reference pics and I will see what I can do for ya
  21. Doesn't take but a second to adapt them....the bitmaps are universal between the variations of A-4. So the A-4F have bmp files called "A-4F_Nose.bmp", etc....just copy the squadron directory over to the A-4C, change the name of the bitmaps to "A-4C_Nose.bmp" etc....and make sure the decal.ini reads A-4C rather than A-4F, and you are good to go. Doing a simple "Replace" function in the decal.ini will make that go real fast, just go "Edit>Replace" then type "A-4F" in the "Find What" field and "A-4C" in the "Replace With" field.... Let me know if you have troubles, and I can easily adapt it for you
  22. Yeah, I sure can.....can you post me some pics of the SkyRaider you need?
  23. Bravo! After the whole "I hate payware" thread, nice to see someone give some positive feedback!
