  1. I've managed to get Wings over Vietnam multiplaying on my LAN. The manual says we need Hyperlobby to play over the internet. Posts on Hyperlobby's site suggest we need to play on Hamachi cause Hyperlobby doesn't work well. The Third Wire form instructions get lengthy and complicated ie, opening router ports, etc. So, before I devote the time, effort and brain cells to attempting this, just wondering if anyone has their WoV, or any SF1 game, up and running on the internet and how you did it. TIA, Geary

  4. File Name: SF1 F-86 Sabre/FJ-3 Fury Lines and Rivets Templates File Submitter: Geary File Submitted: 29 June 2014 File Category: Skin Templates / Decal Sets Redrawn Panel Lines & Rivets for SF1 Era F-86 Sabres and FJ-3 Furies. This is a .psd file at 2048 x 2048 pixels. You MUST have a software program that allows you to modify .psd files, such as Photoshop or GIMP. (There may be other programs out there that deal with .psd files, but I'm not aware of them.) You must also understand how to work with layers. The lines and rivets are drawn in pure black but the opacity can be adjusted to fit your likes. NOTE: This template can be used for skins for the SF2 KAW Sabres/Furies but because of the LOD's the skins are shiny and the lines don't show up well. I'm releasing this under the Combat Ace Fair Use Agreement. Use it anyway you wish for personal use. For any other use, please contact me first. If you find any problems with it, please PM me. If you improve it, please PM me a copy. Thanks to all who are helping me learn to skin by direct involvement and/or by inspiration. If I forget or miss anyone who deserves credit for anything I release, I apologize. I have no intent to abuse or misuse anyone's property or claim it as my own. Please contact me to correct any error. Geary Click here to download this file
  5. I've never run SF2 mods other than the default, but I've read this and seems simple enough. Hope it works for you. http://combatace.com/topic/82326-running-mods-from-a-different-disk-partition/?do=findComment&comment=661060

Take a day off to celebrate you birthday. (Take a year off and tell people you are younger). Happy Birthday.
  10. I wish you a full and speedy recovery. When you feel up to it, try a weekend at the baths at Baden-Baden. That always made me feel better.

HOLY LEANING TOWER!! Does that heat sink have it's own support system? What keeps your tower from falling over?

I've been thinking about going to a big screen TV for my main monitor. Need to find one I can live with. I've been wanting to build a new computer with two PCIex16 SLI slots so I can run at least 3 monitor with the same quality. For flight simming you just NEED three monitors. Just can't seem to get it al together yet. Glad I still have goals in life. Congrats on your new system.

How ORGASMIC!! What kind of Monitor/Display setup do you intend to have?

  20. I know what you mean. I finally started painting out the numbers on the Razbam Banshee's and adding stock decals so not all the planes have the same number. Going to take awhile to do them all. Eventually hope to get some templates made for them. Again, going to take awhile to do them.
