  1. WIP - USN F9F-5P 'Photo' Panther, Korea 1952. (Pasko's F9F-5P Recon Panther slowly getting new lines, rivets, paint, etc. Original decals by Wrench )
  2. Looks like you've done most of the right things in setting up the install to be modded. Maybe try opening the A/G Expansion folders and move the contents into the mod folders one folder at a time. For instance: Copy the A/G Ex aircraft files into the mod aircraft folder. Then run the game and see if they show up.
  3. Corsairs - The USN Work Horses of the Korean Air-to-Ground War, Korea 1951. (TMF F4U-4B with new lines, rivets, paint, etc. Original decals by Wrench.)
  4. We have a decent, older MD-450 Ouragan. It has a problem with the bottom right aileron. There's a bit of a fix for the right aileron with a .tga. The problem I have is trying to paint the .tga to better match the lines, rivets and paint of the rest of the underside of the right wing for different skins. What a bitch. My question is: If we (someone who knows how) makes a right aileron and attaches it via fake pilot, will it still animate? I realize it might not match paint exactly, but wonder if this is a feasible fix for Pasko's great little bird. TIA, Geary
  5. 1. Did you create a Separate StrikeFighters2 Vietnam.exe and StrikeFighters2 Vietnam.ini files in your merged games folder? 1. Did you run your stand alone SF2 Vietnam, load a mission and sit in the cockpit for a few seconds once before you installed the Air/Ground Expansion pack? 2. Install only to the mod folders in C:/Users/'YourName"/Saved Games/ThirdWire/'WhatEverYouCallYourA/GExpansion.' If you did all these steps, I can't figure why it isn't working.
  6. MiG-15's on Patrol, Korea 1952. Pasko's old MiG-15bis with new lines, rivets, paint, etc.
  7. I I think you can just save the whole file as a .psd file. Then you can re-use the file as often as you like to create and save new tails. Just place the decal layer above the tail layers.
  8. I don't use Gimp, but I think 'Control-N' creates a new layer in Gimp as it does in Photoshop.
  9. This has happened to me a few times throughout the years. Don't know what caused it but I ended up having to remake my control.ini file then copy it to all the SF2 installs. Seems they all went wonky when whatever happened, happened. Even my saved control.ini file was useless.
  10. Sea Fury Brothers in the Sand, Sinai 1948 Egyptian Sea Fury Iraqi Sea Fury New lines, rivets and paint, etc...
  11. I was stunned and mesmerized by the idiocy, clichés and inaccuracies of this movie. Actually watched the whole movie to see if there were any redeeming qualities in it. Saw some decent aviation footage (when it wasn't totally unbelievable bull$%&# such as obvious F-86's with something like a North Korean star painted on the fuselage, etc...). It's now one of my favorite $h#* movies ever.
  12. Did you set it up using these instructions? This works for me. I have about 40+ SF1 installs working in Windows 10. My SF1 in Windows 10 settings. 1. Install latest DX9. I'm not sure but I believe the latest DX9 driver is 'directx_Jun2010_redist.exe.' It can be found on the internet. 2. Install ENBseries. I use FalconC45's 'HDR Mod 1.01A' found here, 'https://combatace.com/files/category/747-environmental-mods/?page=2.' The HDR Mod 1.01A is for high end Nvidia graphics cards. There is also a mod for ATI/AMD graphics cards on that download page. 3. Install the game BUT NOT in the default installation folders. Put it in the C: root folder or on another drive. 4. Set SF1/WOX .exe file compatibility mode to: 1 - Check box for 'Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (Service Pack 3).' 2 - Check box for 'Run this program as an administrator.' Your compatibility mode might differ. You might need to experiment with different settings to find the right one for your computer. 5. I use '4gb_patch.exe.' I don't know if it makes much difference, but it doesn't stop the game from playing. It can be found about 10 files down here: https://ntcore.com/?page_id=345. Remember computers differ, so my settings and adjustments might not work for your setup. Good luck. Geary
  13. jack33, It's been a while since I've adjusted angles but I believe you must adjust your 'AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0' to adjust the paratroopers sitting position. Someone gave me this information years ago: First Number Set = ?? Center Number Set = Raises/Lowers Front-to-Back in Degrees Last Number Set = Raises/Lowers Side-to-Side in Degrees IE: AttachmentAngles=0.0,2.5,0.0 would raise the missile front for 2,5° Hope this helps.
  14. This is my rig set up: Asus Essentio CM6830-07 - Intel i7-3770 QuadCore 3.4GHz CPU - 16GB DDR3 PC3-12800 (800MHz) RAM (2x8GB) - 4GB GDDR5 EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Video - 1TB WD Black SATA-III 7200RPM Hard Drive - 3TB WD Black SATA-III 7200RPM Hard Drive - Corsair CX750M 750Watt Power Supply - MS Windows 10 Professional 64-bit ALL my installs are modded. Have you tried 'My SF1 in Windows 10' explained further up in this post? I'm not sure what causes SF1 to fail in Windows 10 but first it seems to be DirectX 9 missing. So, install 'directx_Jun2010_redist.exe.' Then, installing to the default directory seems to cause problems. So, install to the root directory or a separate drive. Then, the default compatibility mode causes problems. So, I set my compatibility mode to 'Windows XP (Service Pack 3).' AND 'Run as administrator.' Then, multiple Windows 10 updates cause issues. I apply all Windows 10 updates. Still have SF1 working installs. I use Nvidia graphics cards and Nvidia updates sometimes cause problems. So, install the 'HDR Mod' for your graphics card, either Nvidia or AMD/ATI. The ENB series files are the only part of the HDR mod I use. SF1 is built for 32-bit operating systems. Usually single core processors. I use the '4gb_patch.exe' because it's supposed to allow single cpu core apps to take advantage of more than one core. Whether it works or not I don't know, but it doesn't seem to stop the game from playing. I don't know that ALL this is necessary but it works for me.
  15. Is there a TW P-51D Mustang Template available? Or has anyone done one they haven't shared but would be willing to share? Or is there a template for the Crisis P-51D available? TIA, Geary
  16. I have over 50 SF1 installs that work fine with the latest version of Windows 10.
  17. I wish now I had asked about a template for this plane a couple of years back. I've been working on one I built from Suhsjake's old SF1 template for over a year as I found time. I would love to have a copy of yours if you are willing to share. Also, I've been working on one for Wolf's B/C Mustang. Still needs work but not bad considering how old these models are.
  18. You might have. I might just have missed them. Good details. They're usually the hardest thing to find. Thanks, saves work.
