Does anyone have a fix for this Hover Craft syndrome? This aircraft is sitting on the runway waiting for takeoff. The wheels are there, they just won't deploy and when I do get them down they immediately retract. It seems like I've seen this before but can't find the forum entry using the search engine. Thanks for any help..

Yeah, those have been used on me in bars. Wait .... maybe it was just repulsors. I don't recall anything lifting about those experiences. Of course, I was a bit besotted.

Thanks Wrench, That fixed it. Solved a dilemma. I'm giving the Ajeet to the US Marines to fly escort for the Attack Gnat I gave them, Their solution to the take-off with no wheels was to just pick it up and throw it. That may have worked for the take-off, but their idea of using a catcher's mitt for landings concerned me and the maintenance guys. Working landing gear solves this dilemma.

Has anyone got the YAP Rising Sun aircraft carriers to show up with the island, crewmen, guns, bells and whistles, etc., in single missions? I'm trying to use them in a SF2 PTO full-5, merged install. The most I've been able to get to show is this: Looks a bit naked to me. Any help is appreciated.

My return key doesn't work in forum posts. Works in all other programs/applications on my computer. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix this?? Thanks.

Is there was a fix somewhere for the CAC Avon Sabre LOD shadow? The F-86 Sabre and FJ-3M Fury lod's don't have the correct gunport for the CAC Sabre's 2x30MM Aden guns. I can almost swear I've seen something on this recently, but I can't find it here, so possibly I saw it at another sim's site (or just dreamed it).

If you get around to the F-86H can you squeeze in the FJ-4 Fury, too???

SupGen, Quite possible that's what I did, but the way I jump from one project to another, I can't remember it that's it. When I get time, I'll delete the SovietNavy from the install and try different strike mission dates. Be careful with all that thinking, might cause headaches and confusion. (At least that's what I use as a reason not to think.)

SupGen. Got it back to launching from carriers and striking land targets, thanks. To answer your questions: 1. I had added USN to GermanyCE_Nations.ini but it was and is at 009. I also added USMC, ROYALNAVY, FRENCHNAVY and AustralianNAVY as 010 - 013. All those Navies launch from carriers. AND 2. Yes, I had added a WaterMap with CZ defined. The thing that seems to have put me back on land is your suggestion to add SovietNavy to the EnemyNations at 002. Thanks for the fix. To bad it doesn't also randomly assign carrier group targets.

Cocas, I promise to try to track who deserves credit for the skins and decals I use on these What If planes for uploading. In the meantime, if there is a particular skin you want, PM me and I'll see if I can compile all the parts for it for you. Geary

Navy FJ-3M Blue Camo (I know. The Fury didn't have 6 50cal guns, but this is the best LOD for the Sabre/Fury I have and the gun ports are built into the LOD.)
