  8. Sorry guys I looked at the site this morning and wondered why no-one had downloaded it. Its a bit of a mystery about what exactly has gone wrong. Admin has asked that I upload the files again and I'll do that when I get home from work. LloydNB

  10. Hi guys I'm looking for some advice. Now the usual size for a bmp file used for skinning is about 1000x1000. I've recently done some at 3000x3000 (9 times the size). Has anyone experienced problems with frame rates? Always trying to get more detail into a skin, I've been thiking of doing skins at 5000x5000 (25 times the normal bmp in area). Is it practical? Lloyd
  11. I think I'll also re-issue the original CR.42 skin. A little work with the colour replace brush and .... It still needs the edges softened a little. Lloyd
  12. I'll try to release skins with an alternative 1000x1000 bmp file. Seems a reasonable compromise. Lloyd
  13. loborojo The CR.32 needs a bit of work too. Some shadows on the fuselage to show the fabric stretched over the frame would be good. Like this-
  14. CR.42 in a more conventional camo scheme.
  15. Thanks guys I've decided to concentrate on the RA, rather than spreading myself too thin. A couple of CR.42 skins to start and then back to the BR.20. I've just picked up the Mushroom Publications book on the MC.202 and I've got some ideas for the SM79 and MC.200. So many good aircraft that have been neglected in terms of skinning. Then there are always the French aircraft pressed into service with the RA. I'll put my templates up on the website to see if I can encourage more people to give it a go. Which format of layered file? PSP or Photoshop? Now if I was making a wish, I'd add the Caproni Ca.133 (for East Africa), the Caproni 311 (recon), the Fiat G.50, the SM.81 and CANT Z.506. Lloyd
  16. SET XV

Nice one Minefield I really love those early war aircraft. I look forward to skinning it.
  17. Good Websight

  18. More on an Italian theme.
  19. Hi Quack Did you work out how to decal the stuts? If not, have a look at the DH2 skin that I put up for No.24 squadron in March 2007. LloydNB
  20. FIAT BR.20M, 56 Squadriglia BT, 88 Gruppo Autonomo BT, Castel Ventrano 1942. Well it will be when I've finished it.
  21. File Name: Chinese Nationalist Hawk 75A-5 File Submitter: LloydNB File Submitted: 22 Mar 2010 File Updated: 24 Mar 2010 File Category: USAAC/USAAF Curtiss-Wright Hawk 75Q (Hawk 75A-5) Chinese Nationalist air force, Kumning 1942. I've included separate skins for aircraft "2" and "4". As far as I'm aware these were the only two examples flown by the Chinese Nationalist forces. A factory was built to produce more but this was relocated to Burma before a single aircraft was produced. Enjoy LloydNB Click here to download this file

  23. As I understand it, only two H-75Qs (the H-75A-5 designation used in China) were used by the Nationalists - No.s 2 and 4. I'll release skins for both. A factory to build more was to be built but was moved to Burma before it produced a single aircraft for China. It would be good to have the fixed gear version, as more of those were used in China. I've re-done the Japanese BR.20 skin that is on te website - updated for Veltro's new top fuselage patch. I'll add decals for more individual aircraft later. I'm going through a few kanji to be added to the vertical stabilisers/rudders. LloydNB
