  9. topcat II I'm at work so can't check, but from memory you might find that the problem is the [space] in the folder name. As I recall it, the fileformat line can't be read if there's a space in it. For example fileformat=f-4b\usmcvmfa115 66\D\wtt should be changed to fileformat=f-4b\usmcvmfa115_66\D\wtt. This will mean changing the tile of the skin folder and the f-4b.ini file entry to match. There is also a maximum length to the number of characters that can be used to identify a decal. Your full path entry is getting up there. LloydNB
  10. These are the last of my Lehrgeschwader I series. Black undersides were applied in the field, so there were plenty of variations - this seems pretty common. LloydNB
  11. Piloto The A-14 was armed with a MG FF 20mm cannon mounted in the front of the gondola, just above the bomb aimer's window (which was blanked out). Extra armour was provided and the dive brakes eliminated. the A-14 was used for both ground assault and anti-ship missions. LloydNB
  12. I thought about this on the train home (commuting to the suburbs). If Major Lee is correct then you should try the following: [Decal023] MeshName=LeftRocketPod DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=F-89D/75thFIS/D/NNum Position=1.05,0.00 Rotation=0.0 Scale=2.0 DecalMaxLOD=3 [Decal024] MeshName=RightRocketPod DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=F-89D/75thFIS/D/NNum Position=1.05, 0.00 Rotation=0.0 Scale=2.0 DecalMaxLOD=3 If My suggestion is correct then this should work: [Decal023] MeshName=LeftRocketPod DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=TOP FilenameFormat=F-89D/75thFIS/D/NNum Position=-8.880,1.05 Rotation=0.0 Scale=2.0 DecalMaxLOD=3 [Decal024] MeshName=RightRocketPod DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=TOP FilenameFormat=F-89D/75thFIS/D/NNum Position=8.880,1.05 Rotation=0.0 Scale=2.0 DecalMaxLOD=3
  13. Hi Wrench Are you sure that the two halves of the pod are connected left-to-right? They might be set up to be top-to-bottom, the same as the wings is. Try setting the decalfacing as TOP and BOTTOM. LloydNB
  14. Now that I've gone to the trouble of doing the panel lines for the wings of a Martlet I, I'd like to be able to use them. I've been wondering what kind of changes to ini files are needed to create a Martlet I and II. I think that the first three versions of the Martlet all used the same powerplant and were mainly distinguished by different armourment. The Martlet I was fixed-winged and had four guns with spacing between them. The Marlet II's wings were folding and it had 6 guns. The Martlet III had fixed-wings and four guns in pairs. If its only a matter of changing the number and location of the guns, I have a good set of panel lines for the wings of all three versions. LloydNB
  15. Hi Wrench Sorry to get distracted from completing the Vichy DB7! I'll get right back to it. I might do a range of skins for the Martlet (ie. desert, light grey and North Atlantic) but I'm particularly interested in adding to the North Africa skins available. I see there is only one SM79 skin so far, so I might try my hand at that next. LloydNB
  16. kukulino Good luck in fixing the problem. It can be a frustrating business. Last night I spent 3.5 hours painting a Marlet for the Western Desert only to realise that the panel lines I used are for a Marlet I, not the Marlet III that I intended. LloydNB
  17. If that doesn't work, try changing the position of the entry in the Decal file. I see you currently have the entries at decal007 and decal008 - try changing them to decal001 and decal002. Again there is no logic to why it should work but occasionally it does! LloydNB
  18. I wouldn't put it down to WinXP. The smallest mistake with a space or a forward-slash instead of a back-slash can throw things out. I suggest that you delete the Numbers.lst file and rewrite it. I have had the same problem before and even though all the entries were correct the system would produce the correct numbers until I re-did the Numbers.lst file. LloydNB
  19. Make sure that, in your Numbers.lst, you have a return after the last number. For example: 13 14 15 [space] LloydNB
  20. Decoration document (DSO) Promotion citation These were taken from Grandfather's WWI originals. I've taken his details out so if someone can work out how the pilot's details can be put in the gaps, it might be a good addition. LloydNB
  21. Just an update. Making better progress now. LloydNB
  22. Unfortunately I'm using PSP7 so I tend to fade the bmp files by overwriting with an opague light-grey brush. Thanks for the advice about simmerspaintshop, I'll take a look. The DB-7 does have tricolour stripes diagonally across the wings which I'll probably add with decals. LloydNB
  23. Very nice Wrench We seem to have independently come to the same conclusion about the camo colours. There are so many conflicting sources out there. My Vichy stripes, while consistent with the plates that appear in French aircraft magazines, do look a bit bright and I might tone them down a bit. Have you done the decals for aircraft codes on the rudder as a 16 separate 3 line decals? I was thinking of doing one decal for the top 2 lines (which are unchanged) and then a set of decals for individual numbers. Lloyd
  24. The cowlings are done with decals due to the stretched meshes where the left and right sides of the cowling meet. Still getting the top and bottom just right is going to take time, scaling and reshaping but the effect should be good enough. LloydNB
  25. I've decided to post these again after doing a bit more work. 2./Lehrgeschwader 1 (placement of the fuselage stripe fixed and correct Gruppe insignia) 3./Lehrgeschwader 1 And coming soon .....Stab. I/Lehrgeschwader 1 1./Lehrgeschwader is next (night operations) and that will be all of I Gruppe. LloydNB
