I am contemplating buying WOI, my only question is will everything (Terrians, Planes and Weapons) Transfer over to WOI from WOE? Also with regards to the Weapon Packs do I install them all or just the recent ones for WOI? Thanks

Brimstone Problem
Tantobot posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Hello, after searching the Knowledge base and coming up empty I was wondering if someone could help me out. I installed the HellFire and Brimstone pack and every thing works, the Weapons show up in the weapons editior and I have my aircraft data files configured per the instrutions to carry the Brimstone in addition my aircraft and weapons years match. However when I go to select my loadout the Brimstones will not show up. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks! -

I was surfing Wikipedia and I came across the Mitisubishi F-1 and under its weapons listing it indicated that the Japanese have the ability to mount IR guidence packages to the MK-82/84 and M117 Bombs to make them guided, has anyone in the real world business of flying military jets for a living ever come across of seen picture of this or is this an error on the part of wikipedia? Thanks

AI Performance low and fast
Tantobot posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Being a frequent user at least when I can (Stupid College homework LOL) of WOE and the myrid of addons for the strike fighters family I was wondering if after WOI the AI more specfically your flight now have the ability to keep formation during periods of low altitude high speed flight because as we all know when you have just come off a of target and are egressing at low altitude your wingman will not keep up with you. Thanks -

Ok I will try the formation edits, ah yes Law school hopefully my next endevour after college my hat is off to you for surviving thus far because I know it is not easy at all -
Oh the JSDF, I find it rather intersting that they have IR guided bombs, why not just go with Laser Guided Muntions or is that to get around the "offensive" weapons catagory?

Thankfully someone had the presence of mind to invent the AIM-9... -
Normally I fly with only 1 other wingman unless I am going on Escort or any other aircombat mission. I figure that this is the best way to prevent needless deaths.

Best way to deploy Cluster Munitions
Tantobot posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I was wondering how aircraft attack targets with these weapons. It seems in WOE when you use the them from about 200-500FT in a shallow dive they are quite accurate, but can they be used in a level bombing run or just in dives? Thanks -
I know it I am looking right at it, but I can't not seem to find the link Thanks

How do you fly the majority of the time with the Air Defence settings and Enemy air activity settings. Does random provide more variety in the sim? Thanks

Brimstone problems on Tornado
Tantobot posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
After downloading the Brimstone/Hellfire pack I followed the directions to a T, and I got the hellfires to show up and I got the Brimstones to showup. The only problem is that when I want to use the Brimstone on the Tornado the launch rails will not showup. Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction Thanks -

Will I set the dates to 1990 and I went in to the weapons editor and changed the Nation Name on the Brimstone launch rail from RAF to UK to see if that would work, but no luck so far.
