  1. OK, I got'em all working just fine now.

BTW I DLd the SU-27 and got my a** smoked trying to kill one in both the F-15 and F-16. That is one bad dude.

It takes skills bro  . I can wax them in a F-14 and a F/A-18A. Not saying that your not good. It just really takes some fancy flying to overcome them.... but it is possible. However, we they come in hords, it's a bit of a nightmare. I usually find myself zig-zagging all over the sky avoiding R-73s and 77s.

  2. Hey people online gamming in WOV is going well right now. If you want to fly with us, we meet every night in Hyperlobby. We also use Team Speak for better communicaton while we fly, so if you are interested come and join us. We're using the latest patch for WOV. I'm also setting up a moddified version of WOV that will be available from me via ICQ. It will be a seperate directory of WOV titled as Wings Over Vietnam Moddified Online that will not overwrite your existing version(s) unless for some unfortuante reason you happen to have verson with the same name. However, it's a 7GB file, so it might take a while to download it. If this presents an issue to any modders out here, please let me know. I have not yet released this version of WOV, so now is the time to speak up.

  3. Would someone please make a tu_160 for Woe and tell me when its done thanks

Dude, that's just down right rude. These people spend their own time to make this game better for the community and they don't get paid to do it. I noticed that this is your first post so I'll go off with a little bit of grace here and excuse your arrogance for simple innocent ignorance. But next time, don't be demanding for a model to be made and to be kept on an update on when it will be ready (well, that's how it sounds like from your post). The correct way to ask that question would be... "I was searching for a Tu-160 and couldn't find one. Is there any information available about one that possibly in the works?" However, don't ever as for when it will be done, 'cause that just pisses modders off. They got a real life to live, and modeling isn't the main part of it. Please think about what you want to say before you say it. Thank you.

  4. ok do you have a firewall on?

next do you have a router on

does your woe run fine and is it stock?

try double clicking the new wov.exe in your woe folder

if it runs that is not the prob

    next

check your hyper lobby make sure it is pointed at your fixed woe exe

try this like it is the same for fe as woe

    http://www.simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?...e=1#Post2131690

i will be on tomorrow night

    if the children allow

can you set up voice coms

    via teamspeak or icq?

i'll be on h/l around 8 pm pacific coast time

Sorry DaSpungie, I was away at my base for the weekend for a UTA/chemwarfare exercise. I will check out if the new .exe name works with WOE. Also, I do have a firewall and a router. The problem is that I'm running through my dad's network and he will not disable the firewall. However, I have disabled the firewall on my computer. I just thought that would keep me from hosting games. I can play online with other games.

  5. ok yes woe work trhough hyper lobby just got to fool it to thinking it's wov

    easily done

Doghouse and I play it quite regularly

as for OPFOR put me down as a mig-29 driver

that or fight in my fav the f-8e crusader

just ask MR Craig and see what he says about me and a sader

i have icq and teamspeak we use the simhq server alot too

for first eagle which we play on line the same way we do woe

last month there used to be 6-8 of us in a furball at one time

just have to all have same planes loaded

we all start with stock then similtainously download the planes we each want from the same web site then install

takes a bit of time to set up but if you do not change you planes to often you will not need to do it much

and you can just drag and drop in or out plane you are or arenot using

    simple

    so see you all tonight

thats in 10 minutes at hyper lobby

and bring a big lunch and you favorite condemint cuz your gonna eat your ass

How do you fool hyperlobby to use WOE?

  6. I think we all have jobs... or I hope anyways. My old man was an AF SP BTW. I would like our little squadron to pick one fighter and master it. That would have us mopping up Fulcrums and SU's I would think. Vipers are cool, I am down for the Tomcat, And of course if we really wanna be the "Yodas of airpower" the F-4 Phantom II, if mastered, should be servicable even against newer birds. I would not think we would be getting together online more then once a week or bi-weekly, Or whatever worked.

Hm... well, perhaps say one night we fly vietnam era, next night cold war, and next night modern airpower. If we constantly keep it at just one aircraft, people will start to lose interest. However, I do agree in uniformity with what we fly (everybody flies the same airframe). Although, we could have a mix-up night where we get to choose or own wings. I know I'm not particularly fond of vietnam aircraft(not enough technology in them to make me feel comfortable in a combat situation - hence why I'm making the JSF), but I would still fly them, as long as we would also give the cold war and modern jets a go every now and then. I guess it all depends on what your main focus is. Do you just want a small group of friends that like to fly what you fly, or do you want to start an actuall online gamming community where there are a bunch of people who would want to play and have the opportunity to pilot their favorite aircraft against somebody else's and see if skill or technology would be the better tool for air combat.

  7. That's the most stupidest reason I've ever heard. The planes that were used in 9/11 were commercial airliners. Even a 737 couldn't take-off from Meigs. It was designed for small aircraft only. And it was a bit hairy for learjets to land at as well. So then, someone should ask him about O'Hare and that other major airport south of downtown chicago. Those two have the large airliners taking off from them and pose more of a concern than Meigs. Infact, Meigs could have been used as an immeidate crisis casualty collection center or a mobilization base for the national guard if crap really did go down at Sears Tower. I guess this is the result of someone waking up to reality and not knowing what to do since they spend most of their time in lala land.

  8. Well, there goes that idea. Sorry Shin, thought I could help you out there. Perhaps you could contact the original author for that jet and see if he could convert it from the original 3ds, max, or whatever file that he/she has it saved on whatever program he built it with (more than likely 3DS MAX - but possibly Miya, Blender, or Lightwave) to one for SFP1, WOV, or WOE. I should stop offering suggestions 'cause it seems to be getting you in to trouble.:haha:

  9. okay have downloaded the file.

the site says it for cfs2000 and fs2004.

i saw a yukikaze jet there too.

can i have instructions how to succesfully incorporate thes FS/CFS jets int thirdwire games?

it will be nice adversary for zur's talon(i dunno what zur thinks about that.)

for some time the talon is unchallenged in FIGURES-skating

you know, hypersonic, stealth, range, detect systems, turn radius, etc.....

if it goes succesfully, then let the fun begin.

(sorry to the other guy i had replied this message to.... its for serverandenforcer, soo soorryy)

You'll probably have to do reverse conversion (FS/CFS model file to .3ds or .max) then convert them to the format used for the thirdwire games. I'm just not big on knowing how to do that.

  10. So why did they do this? I bet this mayor is facing major heat to do thatl. Wow, just doing something like that out of the blue is wrong on all levels. So, what about the people that worked there? They didn't get a notice either? I know that city politicians are corrupt straight from the core, but to do something so high profile is just astounding. Perhaps that's just the way Chicago rolls.
