I certainly would rather have the Sparrows than the Sidewinder Bs. Where is this option in game? -

Do you have rules for yourself in single missions and campaigns? Do you refly if things go bad or do you accept the results? Do you flip a coin or roll dice?. Do you always start at runway or close to action? I roll virtual d n d dice for campain starts, and more often than not, flip a coin for refly/accept. It's all very up to chance. For instance, with the editor, I use the dice to choose: campaign, force, aircraft, country, arms limits, arms availibility, mercenary, and funds. The squadron name and campaign name are completely random words that I think of, and I DO mean random. It's fun, ask anyone! So, what r u? -

It's a WW2 game, kind of like IL-2 Sturmovik. The player chooses what country to fight for, and is givin date appropriate planes from that country to fly given the start year, 193x. It is not possible, therefore to fly Zeros as Americans, or Me109s as Italians. The maps are not always so small. The general game play is to use ground attack to achieve map domination in most situations. There's dogfighting to keep the attackers alive. If the enemy base is destroyed, it's an automatic win. It is possible to unlock upgrades to your plane by giving it +"x" damage to machine guns for example. There are different models of the planes and if you lose one, you cannot use the same model again in the same battle, getting shot down in an upgraded P-36C, respawns in basic P-36A or B, your choice. Unlocks include new plane models, paint schemes and slogans. You can buy the plane models if you want to, but otherwis it's free to play. Oh yeah, fly by 3rd person (chase) or cockpit.

I've got a few levels under my belt as well, not a bad game for free. Takes a bit getting used to the pace, but it's okay.

FiFi, the only FLYING B-29 Superfortress in the world, woke me up Friday morning by turning over my neighborhood at 10am. I went outside to see what the "different sound" was coming from and very nearly shat myself when seeing it. I was shouting and running around, my sleeping wife, Laure, just about had a heart attack from the commotion. Anyway, I grabbed my camera and headed out to te airport, and sure enough these are what I saw...
