    Čau, tahle bomby se vždy zaměřují klávesou E a nevím jestli fungují jen na primární cíle ale myslím že ne. Jak psal Blackbird potřebuješ mit na letadle laserdesignator (buď vestavěnej nebo podvěšenej) be toho se bomba neodhodí. Monty CZ

I will look at the textures so it would help a little, just now I have about 270 parts in the 3D model and about 13500 polys - it will be under 20k polys and 400 parts, when I finnish it (I dont want to see the out file :-) ) ...and the ini work will take some time i think ... one question for today: for this plane was very specific that the engine took some time when going from iddle to full power. 9-12 seconds usualy. So how to model it? I believe that ThrottleRate=??? is the correct parameter, but what means the number? smaller number means slower response. Monty CZ

  5. serverandenforcer, yes that is bumpmapping I allways use all features that are implemented into game engine :-) here is some update (I had a file error today so I had to rework something and now only clock needs to be finished) lights testing :-) Monty CZ

  7. Hello all, I realized that I need help with instrument panels (as a paraglider pilot I can read vario and GPS only :-) ) Can anybody tell me how is this instrument supposed to work? I realized that its some sort of HSI display. How will the center ball look when you would be off approach course? (I dont even know if it is possible to make in SF2) Monty CZ

    2 generations (in real life and ingame too) I had to upgrade old L-29 due some shadow problem - do you know that the model is from 2005? So I added bumpmaps too, flight model need to be tuned (I hoped that it will be good start for L-39 but not) loong life for SF! Monty CZ

You caught me :-) In this stage I have the easiest possible data.ini file, that says game, that there is some plane, which has fuselage, wings, stab, vert tail and some basic systems like pilots engine and landing gear. So there is nothing about undercarriage, lights, collision points etc. With ini editing it is of course possible to let the game know when to show only pylon and when there is IRM, so rails must be added. You simply want everything and now, but it takes some time of programming :-) Monty CZ
  19. Canopy animation is the easiest think I can add to my planes :-) Yes it is present. But I didnt make the steps, which opens for easier boarding...I know it is a shame, but I like the clean shape without distorsion due some small holes. And this model is about 10k polys so I have to simplify something. Dont know why but this model takes more time than I wanted to (comparing to Avia S-199 with one month from start to release) If anybody has some idea what to implement send me PM (animated IFR hood in C cokpit, which I know how, Saphir starter turbine, which I dont :-) etc) Monty CZ

I assure you that I will spend some time with this plane, so "yes there will be a cockpit" I am aiming for most realistic simulation of L-39 I personally can make, so be patient and I will make it. This is my personal tribute to this plane and to its creators under the teadership of Ing. Jan Vlček. Monty CZ

  22. Hello all, after several years of flying and modding good number of the aircraft I have strong feeling that last patch changed something I dont like. Could somebody confirm or dispute this: I know that game uses whole AI flight to fight agaínst you. So any plane you try to attack, flies in a path that brings you in front of another plane, which will shoot at you. This was real enough for me. But after the last patch it looks like AI have more advantages in the same plane than you. Ok I knew that AI flies with normal settings, when you are flying on hard, but when max speed is different for more than 30% on the same plane it is more I can stand anymore. Another feeling I have when flying different plane - I am at 6 no more than 400m away from the enemy, and enemy starts to fly straight speed cca 300km/h(ok I know that another enemy plane will be on my back in no more than 10s) then I start to loose speed from my 450km/h so I cant get close to my target (FPS is slowing down too) If I dont break away from my target in no more than 2secs I will be sitting duck and shooted down. Mig-21 flying at Mach 1,2 can decelerate so quick!!! when I was trying to turn into him because I was slow (450km/h) and hoping that it will overshoot me (he was no more than 1km from me in that time). It managed to slow down so it was 200m at my six after my short S turn (flying the exact speed as me). I cannot slow down in the same Mig.21 so quickly. I was trying all that with original planes, my mods and all combinations of the planes. Am I paranoic or is the AI "advantaged" the ways I described? I respected this series because game physic was good enough and AI wasn so dumb but this level of the cheating I cand stand. It is the same why I dont fly Il-2 Can I change something to reduce differences of FM of player plane and AI in the same plane? All this is written with respect of TKs work but I simply wanted the world without cheating :-) Monty CZ
  23. But then why to make unique and historically correct flight model for each plane? when AI flies all the planes the same way (ok some of them are faster than others).... Long time ago you had to recognize the enemy plane and think about your tactics. Today I feel that the only tactic is Tab/1/1 or Tab/2/1 :-( This sim had bigger potential... Monty CZ
  24. I was flying stock F-100 in that time - I was checking damage model of my red side plane, so I chose western plane from that era and shot my own wing at that time. then those F-104 arrived. Monty CZ
