  2. D-O: I am learning 3DS and it seems that there is the same procedure possible :-) and when I was talking with some others 3D modelers (low poly models specialists) they told me usualy that the best way to have model with low polygon count is "to place each vertex by hand" :-)

    This B-29 in FirePower is based on StrikeFighters model of B-29 (which is free add on) but it is improved and it is going to be released with cockpit and gunner stations... the only wrong think is that screenshot was taken from SF not from CFS
  5. When you are surprised by some bandits at 30,000 ft you dont need to solve that problem any longer :-)
  6. Using splines is the way how to build plane with high polycount. Actualy I dont know how to model anything in 3DS but in other modeler I am using cilinder with 18 sides for the fuselage.
  7. I thing that is call for me to mod A-1H model into A-1E :-) I must say "sorry" for it, but I can send max file to anybody who can make some changes...
  8. Hmm I can check what is the last condition of this plane (I am working on several projects on one time so I am a little bit confused... .-) ) and then I can release some beta preview. (I think that it is in the state of current release of A-10 )

  11. The game uses extracted files first and when it is unusable (something wrong is in it) then it has second file in CAT archive so dont delete cat file :-) remember you must have crater.tga file placed into flight directory (name must be the same as in particlesystem.ini file)
  12. So I decided that Yak -28 P Firebar will helps them (or will be another target on our radar screens) on this picture is actualy Yak-28 Brewer after few hours of modeling but I'll transform it to P version :)

CowboyTodd41: Only to correct you - in 3DS I cannot make simple mesh - it is done in Blender 3D then exported for texturing and animation (not present yet) :-) RareBear: I am still working on Scorpions versions but for Genie I need 2 things which I cannot do - Nuke explosions and possibility to timed explosions of rockets (Genie exploded after 8 miles in the air, but in game it can explode only when it hit plane or ground and trust me it is hard to shoot plane with unguided missile :-) ) So in meantime there are another planes which I can prepare for future :-)

  19. Did some cosmetic changes yesterday, I have some FM, which could be acceptable for this plane so collision points, system tweaking, damage and LODs are the next BTW I downloaded practice range only because of new terrain textures and "WoW its like new sim now" :-)

Thanx for your informations Column you confused :o me because I thought that the A-5B was the same shape (nearly) as RA-5C - check this link http://home.att.net/~jbaugher4/newa5_2.html If not, there will be no A-5A/B modeled by me, but I can give my source file to anybody to make changes In meantime you can compare those pics with the ones from M$FS :) Although this project is not my favorite I can say that this plane is cool as fast delivery device :D

Calling all Vigi fans:-) I need a little help I dont know how was the gear retracted/deployed Just now I left the tires rotating 90 degree and then hung forward and hide in the bottom of fuselage, but I dont know if it is right. Second thing I dont know is where were speed brakes on this plane? I know that landing was difficult in it but due the stability, not the speed :-) any suggestions are welcome

  24. I have great info for you I am still working on Vigi mostly in version A-5B (wich was tested but not used) When 2nd patch will be released I will be able to add reckon pod and then release RA-5C but I think first of all I have to finnish this

    Sony is right - I double checked all files and only possibility is that your folder has different name from your ini's. I Hope you enjoy that plane (I never heard if somebody likes it) Bye Monty
