  2. just checked a few days ago, and i bought Sf-2 Vietnam...in 2009! I can't believe I still have fun to play the same game after 7 years. Credits go to TK and all the fantastic modders here at CA for that. enjoy your new rig :)

  6. Ok, so it looks alright on my install, as well as in Target Area Editor (a great tool by Mue: http://combatace.com/topic/85827-wip-target-area-editor ). Download this tool here in combatace, open your vietnamSEA.ini file, and look for Da Nang air base in the upper left panel. See if Da Nang looks as it should be. Also, in your target.ini file, look for: [TargetArea091] Name=Da Nang Air Base under the mention Target[269], you should find this: Target[269].Type=Ramp Target[269].Offset=-500.00,310.00 Target[269].Heading=90 PS: also, i'll send you via PM my vietnamDATA.ini. Make a backup of your file, try mine and see if this change anything, just in case...Beware that I am using a bunch of files from stary's tiles, so you might miss a few TGAs

  12. It seems I've just fixed the problem. It looks like the culprits were the latest Nvidia drivers 355.60 (which I installed a couple days ago). Reverting back to 353.62 fixed it so far.
  13. Turns out I have visual artifacts (flickering, textures tearing, dds textures not working) playing sf2 with windows 10. After a few tests, it comes from my modded flightengine.ini; Which i modded for a longer viewing distance. Any DetailMeshSize parameter set over 12 creates these artifacts. Do you guys observed this? Do you have any idea how to fix this? (I set this parameter at 16 when i was using windows 7, and everything was fine).

  15. This game IS truly amazing. Congrats to all the talented artists involded. Who knew i would enjoy an android game this much
  16. I play it on a weekly basis, usually on weekends. As you guys said, it is a terrific sandbox, and I have 20 standalones installs, that can cover many scenarios

  20. PS: I realized this was all part of the "impossible semi transparent" story. i tried to disable the nodename entry into the [RadarScope] paragraph, but it removes some information. I also tried to edit the MiG-23_radar.bmp, and replace the black with light grey or light blue, in order to ease the eye.
