    In real life F-14s had a high rez camera that could pick up a Backfire of Badger sized target at 40 miles on a good day. I think it was ment so the enemy wouldn't detect the Tomcat's radar?

    *falls down* To many to say. I liked the Viper attack, the Vulcans, Osprey, Harrier Campaign, F-4G, and that I was able to become a member that year.

  19. Could be. I had a Colonel, 6 kills, 10 AG kills. Sent him on many missions, he got nothing. I sent up my NGs and they bombed the 79th Guards Division and the supporting craft into submission. What was Colonel doing? Being a Snoopy and flying in cirles!
  20. Oh! Oh! Yesturday I was playing stock non patched WOE in the 1979 Red Lightning campaign and this one dude in my flight well he was the nooby:no combat low skill, experience, moral, etc and he killed 5 MiG-23s! Both the other guys in the flight killed two Fishbeds a piece!

  22. Wow. I've had Backfires and C-130s dissapear like that and I've even lost full trace of an SH-3 but never...never have I lost an Eagle!

    Actually it is an arcade flight game. Not a sim. The original Air Combat 22 was an actual arcade game.
