SF2 Screenshot Thread
Viggen replied to Stary's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
That Bucc just keeps looking better and better. Quick question about the A-16 because I always get mixed up on it. Was there both an internally mounted 30mm and a gun pod? -
It's happened to be plenty of times since I've started. Can't tell you how many times I've ended up uninstalling because of it too. I have been in that mode for almost a year now. But soon... (aka when I buy the SF2 series and ask two million questions about what I'm missing) But like MiGBuster said, there are so many jets. One is bound to respike your interest.

And I was starting to think he'd never be caught. Great news for Boston.

Iranian F-4 and IL-76 mid air back in 09'

The Simorgh was originally the Iraqi AWACS wasn't it? Baghdad or something? -
Usually I'd just say BS and leave it at that, but judging by the rest of the videos this guy has on his account and the images on flickr, I'd say it's a legit video. I thought all the F-117As were in the hangars at Tonopah, partly dissembled.

I picked up Red River yesterday. For the Xbox I will admit. I had Dragon Rising on it as well. It's ok. I like it better than Dragon Rising in certain ways. Better sky boxes, the PLA aren't sniping me from 500 meters anymore, more weapons, and much better explosions. Not having helicopters, tanks, or APC/IFVs was nice too. Hated the controls for the helicopter. Arma 2's are bad at times but DR's were the worst ever. Red River also felt a little less sluggish which was nice. I prefer not taking five minutes to load a SMAW to kill a PLA APC that's causing me to bleed out. Honestly though it just feels like a tactical Call of Duty compared to ArmA 2. The staff sergeant cursing every other word gets annoying after awhile too.

Rock, some metal, OSTs, some classical, some blues and jazz. But mostly rock. You know some video games have pretty good OSTs.

My CAD teacher gave my class the introduction for a project on Friday. We're building our own balsa wood gliders, starting off with just three sheets of balsa and a blank slate. Aside from the physical model, we also have to build a 3D model of it on the computer and write up a report. Finally, we get to fly them, but not after testing our design on some software. This is one of the only projects I've ever had that's interested me. A good way to graduate, I'd say. We can either reverse engineer the model of an actual aircraft or make our own design. Because I have little to no creative talent, I'm going to base my model on a U-2. I'm a little worried about the Dragonlady's tail. I may not have the amount of balsa needed to built it. So I'm going to improvise, probably with an F-104's tail. With any good size scrap pieces, I may build a MiG-21 or Mirage III, just to see how useless the principles of a delta wing are in gliding. If any one is interested, once the physical model is built, I'll take some pictures.

That was a North Korean freighter that had been caught carrying heroin. The RAN seized it after it ran off course or something like that.

Hoping the poor performance by the Red Sox down in Florida was just a fluke and they'll win tomorrow. Good thing they're playing down in Texas. It's SNOWING in Mass right now.

Some of those Floggers have their former operator's markings crudely sprayed over.

Like how the media thinks that every single weapon from M1911s to M60s are AK-47s?

I'm looking into purchasing my first firearm, but because of my age and Massachusetts laws, I can't own a high capacity (10+ rounds here) rifle until I'm 21. But .22s are treated differently. These sound like a much better alternative to the 10/22. Can I get a link or two with more info about these .22LR semi-auto MP5s and AKs?

THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL OF MY NON-ISRAELI FRIENDS

Good luck Israel. You'll always have my support. -
Tornado F3, 111 Squadron operations coming to a close
Viggen posted a topic in Military and General Aviation
http://www.thecourier.co.uk/News/Fife/article/11976/raf-leuchars-saying-farewell-treble-one-s-tornado-f3s.html So ends one era with the retirement of the last F3s from RAF service. And so ends another with the disbandment of 111(F) Squadron, after 94 years of service. -
German Mirage III upgrade programme
Viggen replied to PraetorH's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Sci-Fi/Anime/What If Forum
Mirage IIIG is actually a really, really cool idea! I've been following the progress of this closely. This is a "what if" where everything is being taken into consideration. -
Libyan Mig shot down over Benghazi
Viggen replied to SayethWhaaaa's topic in Military and General Aviation
Judging by the condidtion of the MiGs and SOKOs in this video, Gaddafi won't need the sand. -
The US is in. I think the Enterprise is on station. Since the rebels (do they have an official name?) claim to have built up a small air force or MiGs and a heli or two, are they going to be grounded by this as well?

SA-6 and SA-8s. There probably are some SA-5s left though. Great job, France! -
I got Grand Theft Auto IV off of Steam on Monday. Won't start the game, not even a main menu. That's $40 and several hours of my life I won't get back. I got my laptop to play games (GTAIV, Fallout 3, etc) that are on consoles, but with all the fun mods. If this is how Steam works, then I'll stick to SF2.

Hey guys I got my M11x and I'm amazed by it. Needs anti-virus though. Are there any free anti-virus softwares out there that are reliable? Want to be safe before I start browsing the web and downloading mods with it.
