My Grand Am has a dent in a really awkward spot on the hood. It's been there since I got it in January. No, I didn't do it. Whatever the case, it's annoying and I want to get rid of the dent without spending money. Any of you gear/petrol heads have a way for removing dents? Also, do they sell champagne beige paint anywhere? I need to do a little touch up in some places. Here's a picture of it. The dent is on the edge of the hood just above the Pontiac emblem. Edit: this topic posted twice. Can a mod delete one?

Whoa...who is she? I think I'm in love. Anyway, TOP GUN 2: On July 11, 1996 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost arts of integrated strike warfare and aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men and women who graduated were the best strike fighter pilots in the world. They succeeded. Today, the Navy calls it Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center. The flyers call it: NSAWC

Southern Watch
Viggen posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mission/Campaign Building Discussion
I've been playing with the idea of making an Operation Southern Watch campaign. We have just about all that would be needed maybe minus a few skins. Before I start any more research, I just want to know a couple things. 1. Would people be interested in the campaign? Heavy combat would probably limited. 2. Should it be one large campaign or several smaller ones coinciding with deployments and cruises? Or should it be limited to Desert Fox and the Shock and Awe campaigns? -

The DS Terrain will definitely have to be stripped of a lot of targets. I don't think that targets can exist for only months at a time, so SAMs will be coming from certain areas for longer than they should. I've got what I need on the Iraqi Air Force so I can check something of my big list. Swordsman, I'll gladly accept your assistance in this project. Canadair, think you could create new Iraqi transport routes? -

Ok nice to see a little interest. I'll get cracking on this ASAP. -
Browsing Wikipedia when I came across this. The Convair Kingfish. I'd never heard of it before. Looks real ahead of its time. Looks a lot more like a bomber than a recon aircraft. Pity it never left the drawing board http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convair_Kingfish

Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened. If memory serves, the IAF wanted the Viggen, but weren't able to get it becuase of the engine being of US origin. (albeit being a Volvo built, afterburning version) That's why they got the Jaguar.

USAAF/RAF Bombing Campaign?
Viggen posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Prop Heads Forum
Been thinking starting work on an ETO Strategic Bombing Campaign. Two, I should say. One for the daylight USAAF bombing and one for the RAF night bombings. If anyone would like to help me with information regarding bomber and fighter units and their placements I would greatly appreciate that. This includes Luftwaffe fighter units, whom I may do daylight and night time intercept campaigns for too. Anyone want to help? -

Question for the multi install prop heads
Viggen posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Prop Heads Forum
How do most of you have your WWII installs set up? Pacific* CBI Battle of Britain dedicated install ETO MTO And eventually an Eastern Europe/Russian install? *Maybe a couple of Pacific installs due to campaigns and to avoid certain aircraft over certain places? They're still primarily flown at the 06 level I presume? Just want to know having been out of the prop head world for 8 months now (deleted my WWII installs ). And still no Black Widow or Helldiver I see. Shame. Although, there is a real Black Widow being built  : http://www.maam.org/p61/p61_rest.htm Scroll to the bottom of the page for a very pretty plane! -

USAAF/RAF Bombing Campaign?
Viggen replied to Viggen's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Prop Heads Forum
That's great Baltika! These are exactly what I needed! Thanks! I actually had an idea to do a SWOTL version of these campaigns after I finished the historical* versions. If you want to use my historical* Luftwaffe campaigns as a base go right ahead, I like the idea and would love to help. Maybe add in Secret Allied aircraft and B-29s too! I remember a few years ago, the History Channel had a documentary on the real SWOTL and Luftwaffe Kamikaze weapons. Have had in interest in SWOTL ever since. *As accurate as possible, that is.
