NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOES!!! Well, I'd rather be a vampire than a zombie

You forgot meteors, and oh, how could you, the one and only CGI Godzilla, man... Not to mention NY's naturally haunted... (I WANT GHOSTBUSTERS 3 MOVIE!!!).

Seriously, I still don't know why directly after 9/11, Bush didn't push the little red button and turned Afghanistan as a whole into a nuclear desert... Now THAT would've been sending countries harboring terrorists a message!! I bet even the russians wouldn't mind, lol... And don't tell me that "oh but the U.S. needed a sand box to play with their new weapon toys"... they still had Iraq to do that... oh well, just my politically incorrect 0.02$s

You should all quit smoking, it just isn't fashion anymore. Just had to say this as today's the "international non-smoker day". As a non-smoker who suffered severe cough attacks on weekends due to have been stuck in an office with smokers where the smoke was so thick you couldn't even see the end of the corridor (this was before the relatively recent implementation on smoking-restriction rules), I must say - go spend your money on other things! (The bad thing about smoking is that it doesn't only ruin the smoker's life but that of non-smokers as well!!).

Very sad KIAs...

Well, if the world does end, then life will be better I hope - if I end up "Up there" instead of "down there"... And as we all know, there's no paradise for us without CA!!!

As someone who believes that souls are immortal (well I still haven't made a "regression" yet but I'm interested in it, even if it's just to laugh my ass off, to see what I've been doing these last few past lifes), I believe it's very unfortunate that our bodies have a timestamp on them (supposedly "good for 140 years" according to science, but in reality anything past 100 is pure luck, heck, getting there is luck as well!!). But when I read about the title of the topic I was thinking rather that it was about the end of the world, something that's rather closer than farther away. Whilst I don't belong to those that say that the world will DEFINITELY end on December 21st, 2012, I've been hearing more and more scientists speak on how things will change in the world - and I'm not just talking about the weather, which could have far worse consequences than anybody might think - and therefore I'm wondering if modern society as a whole isn't on some "highway to hell", right now. The pace of life has never been quicker, and resources to sustain life as we know it are earmarked to be exhausted already in this century - that's not just fossil fuels, but even more basic things like drinkable water... If that's the case I'm of the personal oppinion that it'd be better for all of humanity to be wiped out in some near-instantaneous apocalyptic event ("Knowing" comes to mind) rather than grinding down in suffering - either that or we get some sort of miraculous help from above or fate that'll change us so that humanity in itself will rise above itself and prove to the universe that it isn't some sort of failed experiment of evolution of life on this planet. Hopes for the latter aren't disparate and I must consider a book called "The God Formula" (a book of fiction based on real scientific data), by José Rodrigues dos Santos, quite inspirational. I could nevertheless not write a post and not extend my condolences to those who've lost ones dear to them, but I cannot help but remind them that the pain always only belongs to those left behind - one WW2 quote from the manual of "Aces over Europe", that old ancient game, always comes to mind... "Hold to your glasses steady, this world is a world of lies. There's a health for the dead already, hurray for the next man to die!"

EPIC PHAIL!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!

What wonders me is how Virgin Galactic manages to make a plan to do orbital flights a reality soon enough whilst NASA plans on retiring its reusable vehicles... I wonder how NASA would work if it had been bought up by Richard Branson... I'd bet we'd have the ability to spend holidays in lunar hotel and lunar golf being considered a dangerous sport...

I just got this email and I thought about sharing it with you here... While the C-5 was turning over its engines, a female crewman gave the G.I.s on board the usual information regarding seat belts, emergency exits, etc. Finally, she said, 'Now sit back and enjoy your trip while your captain, Judith Campbell, and crew take you safely to Afghanistan ' An old MSgt. sitting in the eighth row thought to himself, 'Did I hear her right? Is the captain a woman? ' When the attendant came by he said 'Did I understand you right? Is the captain a woman?' 'Yes,'! said the attendant, 'In fact, this entire crew is female.' 'My God,' he said, 'I wish I had two double scotch and sodas. I don't know what to think with only women up there in the cockpit.' 'That's another thing, Sergeant,' said the crew member, 'We No Longer Call It The Cockpit' 'It's The Box Office..'

Dang, sad news indeed... RIP Oliver! My deepest condolences to family and friends - may time and God help heal the pain of those left behind on the flight deck... -
I fear the Eels are near... break out the tinfoil hats!

Another Experte returning to the skies forever...

Parabéns!!! Graças a Deus, irmãos!!! Don't think I'll be seeing it there but wouldn't mind having some Cachaça whilst I watch it on TV, remembering my times in the Nordeste...
-
Isn't there a minimum altitude one has to hold when flying over infrastructure? Besides I bet the pilot didn't insert that stunt into his flight plan - one does have to file a flight plan, even the little civvie birds, right?
-
They're really nice planes, just not so good at shooting down Apaches... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PncAMXnDQo JK, Drakkens and Viggens are still some of my fav WoE birds...
-
WHERE do you drive at 230kph?
-
It's unconventional and therefore I like it - although the "90's cheesy slab-stealth look" would definitely look meaner if it were painted black...
-
Is this also compatible with WOE + 08 patch?

Yeah, especially because, if you find a bag marked with the word "bomb", you never know if it's a dud to throw you off or so serious whoever planted it was bold enough to advertise the fact that it's the real deal...
