  1. Guess I'll have to pass time enjoying myself with this... (sorry about the low quality of the screenie, was done on my backup PC... ) - for those who wonder what it is, it's the Valkiry done for Operation Flashpoint... and it's got working weapons, but no transformation (but there's 3 addons covering each of the conditions the Valkiry can be in - plane, robot, and gerwalk ) - There's also a Macross mod for Descent: Freespace 2 apparently but haven't tried that yet...
  2. I must say I vote for WoE, not only because it's the one I got but also because I started my aerial simming with sims like F-15E Strike Eagle 2 and F-19 Stealth Fighter and A-10, so those will always have a special place in my consideration... plus it runs nice and heck, all the rest I can add too at a whim, right?
  3. Already existing for Operation Flashpoint, the X-02 Wyvern... Video of Wyvern in action in sound test of "Stonehenge" from Ace Combat... Would be nice to have in WoE indeed!
  4. Rafale M will operate in USS Eisenhower

Well, it surely is curious that the first 5th-gen fighter to fly from american carriers isn't made in the U.S.... Sorry, just had to point that out since the U.S. is always so "cutting-edge" on everything... or supposedly...
  5. ... still loads of fun. It's simple, for mecha-fans only of course, and currently in open beta stage but will be free forever. Take a look at chinese developer Snailgames Age of Armor, a mecha-based MMORPG. Definitely haven't seen anything quite like it yet - and it has (or will have, there isn't much concrete information about it yet available) TRANSFORMABLE mechs! I'd suggest downloading the client from one of the partner sites though, they have nice transfer speeds for the 950+mb large client...
  6. Of course it's not a drill... it is the Hammer! Jack Hammer! :moil: J/K
  7. I know this thread may be a bit old, but I thought that it would be better to expand this one rather than opening a new one... I'm anticipating acquiring a 24in TFT monitor and I was wondering if it will be possible to choose the screen's native resolution of 1920 x 1200 as resolution also in WoE?
  8. New Lambo...

This is what a 21st Century Countach would look like I guess... Countach is my favourite car of all times, and if I'd ever win or otherwise get a Ferrari (I'd never buy one!), I'd sell it to buy a Lambo!
  9. I Passed......

    Gratz!!!

  11. Great Videos Kei! Top-notch work as usual, you're THE TK-series video maker nr 1! Though between both I must say I prefer the Bliss Old Mix over the other one... But they're both excellent vids!
  12. Col Jefferson DeBlanc, USMCR (ret) MOH

Definitely ABCD (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty)! S!
  13. Also reminds me of the Sukhoi S-54 / S-55 prototype aircraft, which look like a single-engined Flanker, very sexy indeed... For more info, clicky
  14. The Bear Has Awaked

Talking about the Bear, a curious question came to mind: which one do you think will be retired first - the Bear or the Stratofortress?
  15. Hit with dictionary

    Two words: SO OWNED!!!
  16. The Bear Has Awaked

I must say, one can't blame them... I mean, they still are a superpower, they regained economic strength, and the West isn't respecting agreements (what was the name of the Treaty again) limiting armaments... plus, I don't understand why the U.S. won't go with Russia to build that joint missile shield the russians are proposing... It's not like they care more for the muslims than the americans do... just my 50 cents...
  17. Well, still for the role of standoff electronic warfare platform I think the Prowler would outperform the Growler, since AFAIK the USN doesn't have any other dedicated ELINT/EW platform, though I don't mind the Growler being dedicated USN Wild Weasels... oh well... Maybe someone will think of converting some Greyhounds to a dedicated Electronic Warfare/ELINT platform... Because electronic warfare isn't limited to SEAD but there are other electronics that can be jammed electronically...
  18. I beg to differ. Imagine a Prowler with modern electronics... 4 persons with the new computers and completely overhauled new electronics/radar/sensor suite... would out-do the Growler's 2-crewed performance. But Prowler in that case would be relegated to Electronic Warfare only, since SEAD is also normally left to Wild Weasel type aircraft...
  19. Yeah, that would be my question too, if this will ever be able to be restored to airworthyness...
  20. Is this plane supposed to replace the EA-6B Prowler? It only has a crew of 2... and IMHO, for electronic missions, 4 heads thinking and acting is better than just 2 (or 3 vs 1 in this case of electronic officers)... Once again cutbacks, cutbacks, cutbacks...
  21. Slimer Madness? And here I was thinking... WE GOT ONE!!!
  22. The Transition

http://www.terrafugia.com/ http://www.news.com/Flying-car-ready-for-t..._3-6040007.html If traffic jams give drivers headaches and the sky is full enough for air controllers as it is... just imagine the future!!! http://www.technologyreview.com/Infotech/19499/?a=f http://web.mit.edu/aeroastro/news/magazine...6flyingcar.html
  23. The Transition

Yup! Anti-grav vehicles - I'm dying to be Korben Dallas and meet the sexy 5th Element!
  24. The Transition

At least accidents won't create bottlenecks because nobody will notice the wrecks on the ground, they're not impeding the traffic to flow along the air lanes!
  25. The Transition

Indeed. The Wright Brothers were the first to get it right - making the first working "aeroplane".
