If only all politicians had that much fight in them to defend their points of view... Many other parliaments give the impressions that no matter which words fly, once the work day is over they're all friends... Talk about politicians fighting, quite literally, for what they believe in!!!
-
I don't trust the current politicians (ALL of them who are in parliament) who abhor fighting yet have made my country a member of PIGS!!! Which definitely makes those responsible a bunch of swines, no doubt about it!!!!

And they've even given it a nifty sales-pitch name... I can imagine their marketing campaign... "For 10 Million $US, come join Club K!" This is so wrong...

Herzlichen Glückswunsch!

At least Big Boomer's name will be spellable should it ever have to come into history for the worst of reasons. It's name is Katla.

Car parking fail, or building construction fail? My guess is - both.

They're not only out to get conventional subs but also german-built frigates as well... Hmm, must be one of those "whole-package" deals...

Ironic, given that it's a Navy bird...

I'm with Carlos on this one. Portugal is one of the most religious countries of the western world, we spend millions just to receive the pope, we've spent other millions in the sanctuary of Fatima, yet at every carnival you can bet you find at least one or other figure to make fun of the pope or jesus. Do we portuguese consider that an offense to religion itself? Does the christian church itself speak against it? No! Yet most probably you'll find the same portuguese brandishing those figures at those times in church at sunday mass or at times in need, and no cleric will have thought less of them for it. But enough of ranting. Btw, loved the irony of the islamic painting of your "Hypocrisy" picture, Unknownpilot. Depending on how ignorant one thinks that islamist to be, it's either incredibly ironic or doubly offensive... -
Welcome aboard Mig-Air! The inflight entertainment will be provided by aerobatics performance... enjoy your lunch!!!

What do you mean with enemies?! Rather, friends! Since they're buying european hardware instead of US... I do wonder though, if this is a trend to maintain, seems US-Israeli relations have cooled down some, with Israel also banning the Ipad... what's up with that... ridiculous imho...

Would ash effect good old fashioned liquid-cooled piston engines (Merlin/DB601/Allison/...) equipped with filters? Would be ironic to be thrown back into the propeller age... but according to the scientists, the eruption of ash has stopped, which makes fears come to life that the neighbouring larger volcano Katla may awaken - and if that happens, ash could be spewn out for months in much larger proportions than so far... Sometimes, I can't help but to be amazed at how good old Mother Nature forces a slower pace of life on us. The alternatives to air transportation would result in trips that by plane take only hours, to be traversed in days or even weeks... Edit: Hmmm, instead of Helos, GrViper, how about Blimps? Sound more practical I think, besides more economical, given the amounts of people and cargo to be transported... -

Does this only affect civilian flights? I wonder how this would affect a war scenario... taking into account the new aggressiveness displayed by the large member of the "late unpleasantness"... -

Actually, I think the most appealing factor of the A-Team was how they were always able to make something menacing out of whatever was around to win the fight in the end - kinda like McGuyver meets the Army or something like that... -

Amen, CarlosemoG, amen! You're right, JediMaster, my mistake... I'll edit the post. Still, Mr T is B.A. Barracus, no two ways about it! Just like Richard Dean Anderson will always be Mcguyver and David Hasselhoff always will be Michael Knight (although I bet he'd prefer to be more Mitch Buchanan )... -
The moorish geckos are very small, normally between 10-15cm in length, and I've never had to deal with lizard poop anywheres - probably they did their s**tting outside, since they don't limit themselves to being inside the house but outside as well. Some day who knows I'll dedicate myself to breeding these wonderful creatures... due to their small size, they're really cute, and diligent at their jobs.

Seriously, Liam Neeson as Hannibal?! What were they thinking!!! And - I pity the foo that tries to imitate the original B.A.!!! Some things are better left at their original interpreters and let be that way... Like Knight Rider... I mean FFS... No sequel has beat the original series yet... and no imitation has really had the same flair (the Dodge Viper series comes to mind)...
