I wouldn't work on the MiG-23 flight models anymore. Next to the MiG-21 series, the MiG-23 series have the most obsessed-over flight models in the SF arsenal. There's always someone who doesn't think his favorite MiG flies right, and another .ini adjustment won't make a difference.
Just my 2 cents.

Nice work!
A possible issue: if by 'ECM' you mean an onboard jammer, there's no provision for one in your cockpit package. I don't know whether that was intentional or not.

Textures, specifically cloud and horizon textures, and weps edits.
-
What audio hardware are you using? I assume you reinstalled WOV from scratch after you fixed your virus problem.

I finally just gave up and used another drop tank as a substitute. No matter what I did, I couldn't get SFP1 to recognize the MiG-29 centerline tank.Any other Strike Fighter 2 users some what knowledgeable in adding weapons with the note pad having difficulties getting the game to recognize the center line fuel tank? -
I test weps combinations only with a limited selection of planes: MiG-21s, MiG-23s, F-4s and F-16s. I watch how dogfights go to see if I want to change anything or not. So far as ground weps go, I hardly know good from bad. I just try to make certain the planes are completely loaded up with rockets or bombs before they head out.

Well, I didn't know any of this stuff, so I'm glad Fubar posted the comparison.

Plane 2 of the 'Mystery Series'. Lol.
-
Yeah, what's the difference between your plane and the very nice one that's already available?
-
The only significant change I see with the new patch is lower framerates.

No Tristan. It "hooks" onto it's own dll, which essentially contains most of the parameters in the DX9.0C library (taking advantage of shader model 3.0, etc.). The effect is almost as if someone re-wrote and updated the sim's graphics code.OK, thanks.
-
Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but does this .dll/.ini mod change the settings in your video card if you install it?
-
Have you always had this problem, or is this a recent thing?
-
What airplane is that?
-
Well, you want to do all of the following things: 1.) use a MacBook Pro, 2.) run Windows XP, 3.) run Lotus Domino, and 4.) run the fully patched version of WoE besides.
It doesn't appear that you can do all of those things so you'll have to give up something.
If it were me, I'd roll back to the 08.03.06 version of WoE.

Very nice. Thank you.
-
Well, everything checks out in the settings.
Evidently, quite a few people aren't having any problems. For those of you having a problem similar to mine, you may PM me for a solution. Thanks.

Hmm the thing is the file is a exe. So you dont need to use a zip program to install it.Well, I think I'm just going to have to shelve this for the time being because I keep getting a .zip file on download. It's just a mystery, I guess.

Your clouds actually look good from the ground and not just at altitude. They certainly put my attempts at cloud modding to shame. Thanks.
-
Thanks; I'll report back.
Update: OK, I downloaded the file again, and attempted to decompress it with Filzip and with 7-Zip. Still no dice; I keep getting an error message saying that the file can't be decompressed. Don't know what the problem is; other CombatAce files download and decompress OK. I'm using Opera as a browser and I have no A/V activated on my computer.
I'll run some more experiments when I get a chance.

Hi --
After downloading and attempting to decompress the above I got a 'corrupted file' error message.

Good. I won't feel bad waiting for Vista, then.

I wonder what the clouds would look like with cloudless horizon textures.

I'll add the ECM to my own MiG if I think it's warranted. I was just trying to clear up what seemed to be an inconsistency between your initial product description and the actual contents of your download package. But, at any rate, it certainly isn't any big deal to me.
