It won't mitigate a few percent...it will all but eliminate it. The last few percent (>2%) would be waterborne traffic. Current estimates placed illegal border crossing at between 500,000 and 1,000,000 per year, since the end of the 1990s. Arizona allegedly accounted for a majority of that traffic, so one can easily understand their position on it.

Vid card going bad?

Well, before coming to that conclusion, try this: if you have any of the original (1st generation) ThirdWire titles, try running them at the same resolution & eye-candy level, and see if you experience the same issue. -

Funny thing is, my vehicle pings on pump gas while attempting to maintain 120 mph uphill, but not downhill...... -

Nope, from the GIB's perspective, the trailing edge of the inlet ramp would be ahead of him, not behind him, as in the image above. Below is an image taken from the vantage point of an F-4 back seater, looking forwared and down. Note the intake ramp's trailing edge, and the front edge intake itself in the lower right side of the image. -

That's a sign of VRAM dying. GeForce 4200s were especially notorious for that "checkerboard" issue, especially since a few card manufacturers used to OC the bejeebers out of them, even before the end-users attempted to tweak them even more... Perform a Google search for "geforce checkerboard issue" and you'll see that it's been a known issue for some time. -
These are Box office numbers (in US dollars) adjusted for inflation. Keep in mind that the average ticket price back in the day of "Gone with the Wind" was less than 30 cents, and during the mid 70s for "Jaws" and "Star Wars", they were 2 to 2.50 dollars, respectively. (I recall paying $1.50 to see "Jaws" during a weekday matinée in August of '75...that number is memorable, because most matinées were $1.00 back then!) As with aircraft skins, there's no need going through all the trouble to provide lower resolution tiles. All a user has to do, is to edit the maximum texture size value for a given detail option in the flightengine.ini to "512", like so: [unlimitedDetailOption] HorizonDistance=75000.0 DetailMeshSize=12 DetailLevel=1 WaterEffect=2 NoiseTexture=1 MaxTextureRes=512 -
Help needed with WoI

When you start the game, at the splash screen, look to your lower right, and see if it says "Oct 2008". If not, it needs to be updated to the October 2008 patch level in order to run on Vista or Windows 7 without modifying the terrain data. -
A Big Mac combo meal today is $5.59, in my area. Using Tom's Inflation Calculator ( http://www.halfhill.com/inflation.html ), $5.59 in 2010 dollars adjusts to $1.28 in 1975 dollars, so that 1975 "under a dollar meal" was a screaming bargin, even by 1975 standards.

Circa 1975, McDonald's slogan was a 'Big Mac, a medium order of fries, a regular-sized soft drink, and change back from your dollar"

Where is the MOD folder

Surely 007, you must joking. Where else would the MOD folder reside, but within the halls of the ministry itself? Sorry, couldn't resist -

Not in any TW sim, but you meant in the graphics card's control panel, right Sony? Stratos, you can adjust the daylight setting like so, in the environmentsystem.ini [Day] SunHeight=0.240 SunBrightness=1.00 SunLightLevel=0.9999999999999999999999 <---this should NEVER be set to 1.00 or higher, as it will introduce graphic anomalies (wierd colors, etc.) -

The games need to be installed by order of release, or they will not function properly when merged. SF2 first, then SF2V, SF2E, and SF2I. You can install SF2E over SF2V, or SF2I, over any of them, but you must install the oldest title first. Assuming that you're talking about the default planeset, you are pulling them into a stall. Learn how to fly them smoothly, and pay attention to the relationship between airspeed and maneuverability...you'll soon find that each bird has it's own handling characteristics. -
