  1. No, and that's from straight TK (though the last time that question was asked, was over four years ago). BTW, regarding the F-14 in the screenshot, the wings lack the curverture that one would expect under the circumstances
  2. Seismic Activity

The Northeast region of the 'States is considered a geologically stable area, yet we've had our share of 'quakes, the vast majority of which have been quite minor. However, we have had two events over 7.0 during the last two centuries, and there are some geologists who feel that we're overdue: http://www.state.nj.us/dep/njgs/enviroed/damage.htm
  3. TRUE or FALSE

True or False: In 1965, the North Vietnamese announced that they had shot down and captured James Bond. Well?
  4. Just thought that you'd appreciate a peek at what I'm up to A trio of Udaloy class FFGs tied up on the west side of the harbor The Slava moored on the East side Thanks again
  5. FastCargo and USAFMTL just released an F-15 package, which includes an updated F-15C. The T-6 issue requires opening up the model .lod with a hex editor, and changing the material callout, or (a safer bet), extracting the existing glass.tga material, renaming it to match, and placing it in the T-6's texture folders (all of them). Hey, come to think of it, is there an existing "Glass" or "Canopy" .tga in the model's install folder? If so, it now needs to reside in the texture folders.
  6. Hey, don't get all defensive on us.....afterall, I stood up for you recently. Someone told me that "Dave stinks!", and I angrily replied "Like s**t he does!"
  7. Agreed. I blame Dave wherever and whenever possible.....he's probably quite used to it by now.

  9. Old model on the F-15C, improper glass.tga callout in the T-6A.lod
  10. Perhaps sooner than you think...
  11. Cliff, The 104 is terrible in TnB, it's ace-in-the-hole is Boom and Zoom. In the parlance of Top Gun, fly "the egg" (your flight path during a fight should resemble an egg standing on end). Manage your energy, stay above 350-400 KIAS, and make slashing gun passes with high-deflection shots. It amazes me how often I find myself pulling lead on MiG-17s while executing this maneuver...they almost appear to hang there momentarily, like deer caught in the headlights.
  12. January?

I recall one week in mid-February of 1976, where we had a decent snow fall (about 12 inches/.3 meters) occur on a Sunday...the temps were just below freezing that night. By Wednesday, all the snow was gone, and the high temp for the day had reached 19 C.

Uh, I hate to tell you, but this is typical liberal-media attempt at character assassination. Why didn't they play a longer clip? Because it would have then been obvious to anyone endowed with more brain cells than an amoeba, that this edited so as to create a scandal where none existed. I challenge anyone to read the entire transcript, and then come back and tell me that it's intent is what the liberal press states that it was. Doesn't matter in a way. Most polls show that the majority of Americans distrust the press, and feel that the press has an obvious liberal bias. BTW. Danny Glover stated that this was payback for inaction at the Copenhagen Climate summit. Where's the media outrage against that wacko?
  16. AHAHAHA Read This

MSN has always been a joke. Now, if you really want to see humorous typos and often contradictory headlines, go to www.nj.com (The NJ Star Ledger's website). They appear to have hired 13-year olds as as staff writers, and 11 year olds as editors. Spelling and punctuation is not among their strengths.
  17. Just use any other explosion sound as an example. Also, experimenting with the various parameters is an excellent way to learn
  18. TV show pop quiz

The following image is of a location (building) used for the exterior shots of a popular televison series. It just happens to be some 27 miles/44 kilometers from my home. Anyone care to tell me the name of the TV series?
