  1. Damn...those are some big, long swells! You might want to take on some ballast in that CVN, too...
  2. Someone's overcomplicating things. You only need one Hawk launcher. The different Model Hawks can be set up by in-and-out of service dates. I'll PM the data to you tomorrow.

  4. OMG...a "Cargo Cult" in the making! "An isolated society's first contact with the outside world can be a shock—often the natives first will assume that the newcomers are spiritual beings of some kind who possess divine powers" Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cargo_cult
  5. Gocad and Fastcargo meant nothing of the sort. Once you legally own WoI, you can do whatever you want with it, short of sharing its models with someone else. In as far as porting the model into another TW title, well, that's fairly simple. All the necessary files are located in the objectdata.cat, and need to be extracted from there, and placed into the aircraft's folder. Also, you have to create a sub folder for the cockpit, and move all the pertinent files into it.
  6. In the main folder, open up the options.ini and set all the end years to your liking. Make sure that everyone that attempts to join your MP game has their options.ini configured like-wise.
  7. The only thing I can think of, is a service year/ "game" year conflict. I just tried hosting an MP setup, with 1985 as the year, and all the 3rd party AC in my install that were in service in 1985 showed up.
  8. Are the aircraft in question installed on all the MP machines?

  10. Did you add the Hawk battery locations & layout to the targets.ini? They are fixed SAMs, like the default SA-2 and SA-6.
  11. Harriers weren't the only NATO aircraft that could be deployed to highway airfields.....

  13. Zoo Carnage

The little bastige's older brother had once been caught throwing rocks at the animals in the same zoo, 5 years before. Obviously, the parents of these two fine young gentlemen are permissive pea-brains with no back-bone or sense of responsibility. I say feed both the little louts, and their parents, to the crocs....and do so quickly, while there's still time. After all, its been proven that young, outstanding citizens like these two, have a predilection towards becoming serial killers later in life. 14. Perform this experiment: Set up a (non-scripted) strike mission, in say, the F-4E. Make sure that your wingman (#2) has no air to ground ordnance. Fly towards the objective. Find an enemy aircraft, and tell your wingman to attack it, and then, try to either get yourself shot down, or just simply auger in Don't exit the game just yet.... Instead, sit back and watch what your #3, #4 (etc.) wingmen do. They will go on to hit the primary
  15. From the sounds of it, I'd say that you did not orient the field on the terrain. I recall a similar thing happening in WoV when people tried using Armour Dave's and Gepard's Korat add-on (which was oriented for Gepard's DRV terrain).
  16. The F-15E does not have a dedicated cockpit, it is in fact is using a modification of a cockpit meant for the F-15A, so that would explain the absence of a second working display. But you're correct in saying that those advanced modes are missing from the avionics code. TK never intended his titles to be anything more than a "sim lite" (his words).
  17. Under the various cloud/weather types in the enviromentsystem.ini, you'll find the following lines: MinBaseAltitude= MaxBaseAltitude= The values are in meters. I don't recall seeing a value of 400 (about 1200 feet) in any of them, with the possible exception of overcast and/or inclement.
  18. It's one effect, that is, you cannot specify separate coords, which is what I believe he is asking.
  19. No, only the wake effect size.
  20. Flight sims aren't first person shooters, where your reaction speed is dependent on your frame rate. If you can average 30-40 FPS with all the eye candy on, you're doing fine.
  21. Just imagine,,,

Hummingbirds are extremely territorial, and often go for the eyes of rival Hummingbirds.
