  1. Perhaps the missiles have a shelf life. Perhaps your AI pilots are getting smarter. Perhaps you've changed your difficulty settings and forgot about it?
  2. That would be me....and that was about 30 months ago...
  3. I have a strong suspicion that English is your primary language. I also suspect that you are somewhat intelligent. That means that you can probably find it quite easily, if you really apply yourself. In fact, I know you're going to do just that, as I'm closing this topic, in order to encourage you to that end.
  4. Trust me, it will not work. I tried this almost two years ago, when I first started working on the F-22's flight model, and have tried it again with every subsequent patch release since then. I do have a wild idea that I've shared with USAFMTL, however...
  5. What are you, Jimmy Two Times? Gotta get the papers....get the papers....
  6. That's been "working" that way for a while now, in the opposite direction of any pitch inputs, making it about as useful as a coat hanger in a nudist colony.
  7. If you can see it on radar, something's not right. Even a value of -0.001 renders the aircraft completely invisible to radar in-game, with all settigs on "hard".
  8. I've made a chart with the appropriate correction factors for the series. I'm presently taveling, I will post it when I return. Please be aware, however, that the current patch has damaged that feature, and the only way to acheivestealth (now), is by declaring a negative value
  9. Yes, as you are then hard-coding the maximum texture size that the game will display. For example, if you have a 2048x2048 skin, and declare 256 as the max res texture, the game will limit the resolution of that bmp down to 256x256.
  10. Whether you enter -1, or leave it at 0, it will still be hard-coded in. Any settings in the graphics portion of the options menu will NOT effect this. Read through the preceding lines of that particular .ini file, and you'll see hard-coded entries for the various graphics levels (low, medium, high).
  11. Wow, Who would have thought that Artem Mikoyan and Mikhail Gurevich were really Egyptian "scientists"
  12. A known idiosyncrasy of the series, is that it will often make weapons available for upload, and/or substitute what the engine interperts as a suitable replacement. The 21-93 is supposed to have the capability to carry R-27s, and can supposedly carry the R-77. Now, I know that the IAF has done this (operationally), but I've never seen an R-77 on a Russian bird, namely, because the Russians do not fly the '21 any more.
  13. Don't be lost. I'm simply commenting that the load out in your image is most likely inaccurate, a constructive critique meant to spur either yourself or Gerald into looking into it, verifying that it is or isn't, and correcting it, or myself.
  14. Yes, USAFBLTDan is indeed a master aerodynamacist!!!11! The undisputed king of Thermodynamics!!!!111 The Ayatollah of aileron-a-rolla!!!111! LOL........... Seriously, the Mirage Factory has a lot of talent at their disposal. I'm sure a quick perusal of the read me file will turn up the identity of the artiste responsible for that flight model.
  15. I may be wrong (I've certainly been wrong before), but as far as I know, the MiG-21 never carried the R-23 or R-24. Later modifications of the '21bis (21-93), were supposedly wired and configured to carry a variant of the R-27 "Alamo", but I've yet to see an image of a '21 with that particular load out. R-3, R-60, and the R-73 capability (on the updated models) is all I can dig up.
  16. Gepard, IIRC, a "NAV" mode for the HUD is required in order for you to use them. Look through the F-15A_avionics.ini in WoE, for guidance on this.
  17. Polack's speech mod has been out for over a year. It's quite good.
  18. Of course. Both the updated F-16 and F-18 pits have it.
  19. Accurate cockpits often take considerably longer to model than the actual aircraft. The best cockpit for the series that I've seen so far (but I am not free to say what it is ) took the modeler about a year to complete.
  20. You can rig some of them to fire as secondary guns.
  21. Back home at last...

Jeff, those are some awesome shots! Welcome back.
