  1. SLThrustDry=73532.0 SLThrustWet=120417.0 But it's not simply a matter of thrust at sea level. The altitude tables in that FM are probably using the original, simplified SF default, with values set at 3048 meter intervals. I've redone them using 304 meter graduations (ala Streakeagle's F-4B FM). In deference to its engines, The real MiG-25 had an operational maximum of Mach 2.83. Above that speed, engine life could be measured in minutes. I have my MiG-25PD FM set to blow the engines after a few minutes at Mach 3. Also, IIRC, I went through the drag and lift tables on that bird, as well.
  2. Dur-ta-dur dur dur dur dur durta dur ta dur ta due dur dur....dur ta dur dur dur due dur dur ta dur dur dut ta dur ta dur, John Phillip Sousa would be proud.....
  3. First off, setting the thrust level overly is not the way to achieve accurate performance (assuming that's what you're after).
  4. Truth be told, I had the Raptor's IR signature value set so low, that it was virtually an Infrared "black hole". Unfortunately, setting RCS values seems to currently be an "all or nothing" deal. It'd be nice if it worked to the point that it was tunable. LPI radar is likewise not modeled.
  5. You mean, like this? http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...si&img=2776 And no, it's not a trick or a hack. This is what you will have to look forward to, some day...
  6. Stealth

  7. Yes, it's off, becuase one is taking a 2-dimensional image, and trying to fit to a 3_dimensional object. The model's not finished, either. As to whether someone else is taking it on, I'll take a cue from Captain Willard (Martin Sheen), in Apocalypse now: "I am unaware of any such activity, nor, would I be disposed to discuss it, if it in fact, were true"
  8. Very nice, Marcelo! BTW, check your PMs...
  9. F-22

No Buck, it's Wpnssgt's model. Unfortunately, real life issues have put the model on the backburner, for now.
  10. F-22

An F-22 in Strike Fighters? Never Happen.... I really hate the AI.....
  11. It'd be nice if we also had 3D finger-piers to place over those fugly painted-on-the terrain tile versions. Oh, and "Worf" is a character from STTNG... You obviously meant "wharf"
  12. Yes. We cannot say this often enough. When in doubt, refer to the knowledge base! http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=12164
  13. Did you install the latest DirectX 9.0C? That tells me that you did not.
  14. What burns me, Wrench, is that while we (as virtual pilots) cannot utilize pitch-linked thrust vectoring, the fracking AI can, and does it well! Notice that the buner flames are at the same deflection angle as the stabs in the last image. TK needs to fix this.

  18. This "wall" has nothing whatsoever to do with Pink Floyd, either...
  19. Delete the Weapondata.dat file from your weapons folder, and using the weapon editor, create a new one by opening the weapondata.ini (likewise located in the weapons folder), and hitting the save button. This will recreate the weapondata.dat, and should fix your problem.
  20. No, only in their data.inis so the game engine does not locate them radomly, say, in place of a HAWK battery (or, in the near future, a Patriot battery ).
  21. Not really related to "NATO SAMs", but a quick flight over "SAM Island", just to give the hornet's nest there a little kick http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...si&img=2769
