  1. SF Intro Movies

SF2 no longer supports intro movies.
  2. Because, as I mentioned earlier, it's the TOD files that determine the size of a terrain object, not the TGA files.
  3. Determines the type, size and layout of non-lod terrain objects (such as trees, buildings, and telephone poles). If the Korea terrain is not using the GemanyCE layout, then you'll may find trees and houses sprouting out of rivers, runways, and roads.
  4. If I'm not mistaken, he's using the same trees in his Korea V3 terrain tileset/
  5. Russ, On that weapons station, are you using both of the following entries? MovingPylon=TRUE RotatingPylon=TRUE
  6. Marcfighter's Su-33 Sea Flanker is still in the WIP stage. Update: Here's video of it from a year ago
  7. Seems to be corrected, just tried all the Combatace links on Google from my home PC and my smart phone. Thanks a bunch...
  8. Erik, it's an attempted redirect from Google. It has effected (but not infected) several PCs that I use to access CA from work, and I've experienced the re-direct least two different smart phones. Having an up to date AV and anti-Malware suite will prevent infection, but doesn't do anything for the fact that it's (again) a redirect from the world's most popular search engine, to a supposed link for Combatace.
  9. Happy New Year to everyone....

    Happy New Year to all!
  10. This is not a virus in of itself, but a redirect on the server level, as SFP1Ace stated. It has effected my smart phone, as well as several different PCs at my job site. So far, it's has not dropped any trojans or viruses onto any of the systems that I use, most likely because of their level of protection.

  12. Since it's not a stock sound event, where one can simply replace the .wav file, it requires in entry in the soundlist.ini file. You first need to extract a copy of that fille from the flightdata.cat, and place it it the flight folder. Then, add the gun sound entry twice, first in numerical order on the list (where XXX would be the next entry in the numerical sequence like so): SoundFileXXX=GAU8 And then at the bottom of the file, you need to add the sound event parameters: [GAU8] Priority=NORMAL Looped=TRUE NumBuffers=4 3DSound=TRUE DopplerEffect=FALSE MaxDist=1000.000000 MinDist=50.000000 InsideConeAngle=360 OutsideConeAngle=360 ConeOutsideVolume=0

  14. File Name: HandyMax Tanker File Submitter: Fubar512 File Submitted: 25 December 2012 File Category: SF2 Series Add On Objects HandyMax Tanker by Julhelm This model represents a "HandyMax" sized tanker, so named due to the fact that their gross displacement of less than 60,000 dwt, and their LOA of less than 200 meters imbues them with a level of versatility that's almost unheard of in today's maritime industry. This model was designed and optimized for SF2:NA, and that means Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8. At the very least it requires the latest SF2 series patch for its systems and DX10 visual effects to work properly. To install this package, simply place the folders located inside the .ZIP archive into the mod folder of whichever SF2 title you desire the ship to appear in. The supplied sound effects will require editing of the soundlist.ini file in order to work. This model package also includes an experimental effect, which will be most evident at night or under similar low-light conditions. Consider it an Easter-egg! Credits: Model and textures by Julhelm. 15. They're not visible in this image, as is the open-array radar antenna. But they are there.

  17. Merry Christmas everyone

    Merry Christmas to all!
  18. BSG B&C Teaser

Hopefully, the pilot will garner enough viewership to change their minds.
  19. gotta love the stupid questions threads

Actually, I suspect that this "person" has yet to grasp the light-scattering effects of an atmosphere, and why the "back side" of objects facing away from a source of light (in our atmospere) are still visible. Now, if they have an issue understanding that concept, simple celestial mechanics (orbits and the rotation-rates) would be well beyond their comprehension.
  20. Did you start NA from its executable?
