  1. What ever you do Do Not set the longitudinal center (y-axis pivot point) at anything other than the centerline of the model. The game engine calculates parking revetment clearance (and several other things), based on the Y-axis center being at the physical center of the model.
  2. Wrench, Dave, and myself have discussed this many times before. One crybaby, who's total contribution to the series is equivalent to a gnat's fart in a whirlwind, and who's posts are about as irrelevant as a coat hanger in a nudist colony, often gets TK's attention, and usually to the detriment of 90% of TK's core audience.
  3. Ernest Borgnine has passed on...

    RIP commander McHale...
  4. Is there ANY AH64D study sim?

  5. Finally Ordered A New PC

Streak, I've used Amazon for everything from books, to PC components, to pet supplies, and have yet to have a bad experience with them.
  6. I've been given permission to release this model, by its developer, Julhelm: I should have it upoloaded in a hour or so.
  7. Well, I have cooktops, a microwave, and a convection oven....oh yeah, and a BBQ grill....must'nt forget that one
  8. Yes, quite a few models are equipped with radar-warning receivers, including the ones you just mentioned. You should hear a warning tone when you're illuminated by most missile guidance radars, and you should see a flashing icon on the TEWS-equipped bird giving you bearing and threat-type.
  9. There can only be one....and it is Dual_Mode_Jammer as a type.
  10. Had a young Sea Eagle in front of my car

We have Ospreys here, which are our "Sea Eagles" as well as Bald Eagles. There are several Bald Eagle and Osprey nests within 3 KM of where I live, at the Manasquan Reservoir. 11. That's a TRAM, and it's in the parking lot of the Hampton Inn on the east bound side of 70. Passed by it quite a few times on my way to Morehead City, and even stayed overnight at the Hampton once.
  12. Been Out

Dave, hope all is well with your Dad.
  13. And that can be easily fixed
  14. All of you realize that "dual_mode" is also available as a Jammer Type, right?
  15. In a word, no. The threat level is first determined by the mode of the emitter in relation to the center of a TEWS display, and then by flashing. Only those radars in guidance mode will flash, and display an icon in the center of the screen, those furthest out from the center would be in search mode, and those halfway between the edge and the center, would be in track mode.
  16. AFAIK, the F-117 is set to use a large airfield, so that's one possible issue with SF2NA. Another may be its in-service date.
  17. @ Fubar reg Su-24

Streak, Were you aware that the Saturn/Lyulka AL-21F-3A engines used on the Su-24 were based on a similar design to that of the J-79? That the Su-24 was originally intended to have variable intake ramps, like the F-4 Phantom, but that they were removed during the prototype stage, for simplicities sake, resulting in a loss of max speed capability at high altitude (from Mach 2.18 down to Mach 1.35)?
  18. @ Fubar reg Su-24

Well, as soon as someone coughs up the Max files, sure. It could also use bump and spec mapping as well, and due to its age (AFAIK, it was last worked on sometime in 2007), it doesn't have afterburner nodes, either.
  19. Amazing images

Have you ever been curious as to what the West really looked like during the later half of the 19th century? These images are incredible, especially when one considers that they were taken 140+ years ago! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2149899/The-American-West-youve-seen-Amazing-19th-century-pictures-landscape-chartered-time.html#ixzz1vtjUGcOP

  21. FYI, Throttle position is of little value in RL, pilots mostly go by RPM percentage. Also, not all aircraft in this series have staged afterburners, most are all or nothing (MiG-17/19/21/23, F-8,100,105, Mirage-III, etc). Some varients of the J-75 had minimum afterburner settings and, of course, the J-79 had five afterburner stages.
  22. Happy Birthday to Column5 and Crab_02!

    Happy birthday, Don & Dave
  23. NA is not a First Generation title, I'm moving this thread to the proper section.
