  1. Make sure that you're placing it in the missions folder of the same title in which you've made the A-6A flyable. And remove the back-slashes from in front of the folder names, as that guarantees that the sim will ignore any folders so-marked. Since you're using XP, make sure that you've placed the mod folders inside of My Documents/Thirdwire/SF2 (or SF2V, SF2E, SF2I, etc). It's sll spelled out in the SF2 knowledge base: http://combatace.com/topic/62302-what-is-the-mod-folder/
  2. Here's a mission for you. It involves bombing the power plant at Uong Bi. You'll have three waves of SAM and flak suppressors, spaced 3 minutes apart, the last egressing just as you should be catching sight of the plant. There are 8 bogeys aloft (4 x MiG-17F and 4 X MiG-21MF) , but you'll have lots of fighter cover. I may have even gone overboard in that respect You'll launch at 17:00, which is not realistic, but it makes it easier for you to ID the power plant. Out Go The Lights.zip
  3. That's either done directly, through the LOD, or indirectly, through a specular map. In both cases, it is the developer who needs to set that in the model. I do not belive that the Thirdwire Floggers have spec maps associated to them, at this point. More than likely, special paint that won't effect (or reduce) the radar's operation and range.
  4. Capitaine Vengeur Birthday Today!

    Happy Birthday
  5. It's what's unofficially referred to as a "HandyMax" tanker. They run just under 700 feet LOA, and are sized to operate in just about all international water ways. It's another model by Julhelm. http://www.imcbrokers.com/blog/overview/p/detail/ship-sizes-from-handymax-to-ulcc
  6. Investigating an unknown surface contact.
  7. Happy Birthday To.....

    Happy B'day
  8. Ah, sorry, loadouts would be limited to whatever the stock aircraft carries (no sidewinders or gunpods). Enemy air units could be timed to intercept you at sett points, but any deviation in timing could result in them not being there when you arrive.
  9. I can create it for you. You would simply need your install to be patched up to date.
  10. An anomaly? That's what the gear Oleos are supposed to do when they experience a compression load, such as the aforementioned deck rising underneath them, or when they hit the tarmac upon landing.
  11. Happy Birthday CrazyhorseB34

    Happy Birthday!
  12. Squid As I recall, Streakeagle patiently explained to you why it is impractical (read that as prohibitively expensive) to add any sort of playback/recorder to this series, as per TK. To refresh your memory: http://bbs.thirdwire.com/phpBB3w/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8585&p=53779&hilit=+mission+recorder+#p53779 Given a choice between adding better avionics (even if it's nothing more than threat-assignable RWR tones) and a mission-recorder, I would vote for the avionics improvements every time. And I suspect that the vast majority of Thirdwire fans would agree with me.
  13. It probably installed a custom soundlist.ini into your flight folder. If you already had one, it's been overwritten. If you weren't using one, simply renaming the mod's soundlist.ini file (to soundlist2.ini) will restore your old sounds, but the ones that came with that mod will no longer work. You can always edit the soundlist.ini to allow both your old sounds, and the new ones.
  14. A must see

Crusader sent me the link to this video.... http://youtu.be/6ntDYjS0Y3w?hd=1
  15. That's a pre-08 model, so FM needs to be completely redone to SF2 levels. That being the case, one may as well wait to see if there are any changes brought on by SF2NA that might have an impact on either the player's, or the AI's FM.
  16. There's one already out there: http://combatace.com/files/file/11855-sfg1wmspeechrar/
  17. Muesli, Are you by chance using a third-party aircraftobject.ini file? If so, and judging by the fact that all your aircraft may be effected, that may be your problem.
  18. AIM-9L IR 0.5/18 2.5 87 287/13/64 +-67 deg look, All-asp. Ar c. InSb. 9.4 kg warhead, laser fuze w/ 10 m detonation distance. FM-AM conical scan. +-27 deg field of regard before launch. 32G lateral acceleration. IOC 1978 Source: http://www.x-plane.org/home/urf/aviation/text/missiles/aam.html
  19. If I send this to Dave, will the site go offline for a few days? MIM-14 Nike with a W31 MOD 2 warhead (20 KT), makes for quite a fly-swatter
  20. Check the fusing distance
  21. Rename the Huddata.ini, and the game engine will revert to using the original one.
  22. Someone asked this very question about a year ago at the Developer's site. If memory serves me right, the answer was that there was no windowed mode in SF2.
  23. You did not offend anyone, it's an inside joke.
