Some people are not that able when it comes to converting and some are not able to use the free programs that convert bmp to jpeg. when i first got the GIMP program it did not come with any instructions so i had to trial and error, i still don't know how to use the entire program so a lot of people do not have the patience to deal with it so to me screen shots in jpeg format is great.

    I use the CA Community pack and it has EVERYTHING i need to make my AF and Navy F-4's deadly! AND it is VERY easy to install

  22. first you change them to a jpeg file then you go into the members gallery and create a album then you upload them. I use GIMP (its free) to change them from a img file to a jpeg file. Once you get GIMP you use it to open the screenshot folder in you WO* then you pick the image you want then after you get through sharpening it you use the save as feature to save it as a jpeg. then you can use the upload feature here at CA to upload the jpeg image

    I'm a Harpoon player from waaay back my last version was Harpoon Gold it is a great sim! Not too much of a learning curve if you know a little bit about naval surface warfare and how to deploy your Battle Group and its assets. I just looked at the website for Harpoon 3 but they want $49.99 Red Storm Rising is a great book!
