Dreamk made a lot of models for Il2 and I would say that he is basically right : remember that a lot of models are hasty conversions of freeware meshes, that we do not usually find on combatace ;) ). And on combatace, some models are good but old and start to show their age. I have in mind the TMF Mirage IIIE cockpit for instance : very accurate but according to today's standards, it would require more polygons. See what was done for the super-etendard too. Anyway, they have the same problems for il2 mods : 1% good models, 19% models are "acceptable", and 80% of bad mods (including mines). We can also tell the same thing about FSX. The point is when somebody points this out, the 1% good modders feel offended and they temselves forget the 99% ugly mods.
