VietnamSEA Terrain issue
warthog64 posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I just reinstalled SF2V on my computer and extracted the terrain files. When I started a mission the terrain looked like this.... I tried reinstalling it three more times yet cannot seem to get this issue to go away. Any ideas? -

VietnamSEA Terrain issue
warthog64 replied to warthog64's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
No Problem, it did look that way. It looks like I have the same problem without using the extracted files, it's weird as none of the other stock terrains in SF2 have this issue. I guess I'm SOL Thanks again -
VietnamSEA Terrain issue
warthog64 replied to warthog64's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
This is just the stock VietnamSEA terrain and tiles. I did not do any modding or adding other that what the VietnamSEA.cat contains. I will try it again without adding the extracted tiles. Thanks Everyone -

I guess it could be a patch issue, I'll try it using an older patch and I'll let you know. Thanks! -
Just wondering if there were any plans to make a USAF CV-22 skin for Zurawski's MV-22? Thanks

IR AIM-4s growling at nothing
warthog64 replied to Sheriff001's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
The AIM-4 was a very unreliable missile. Gen. Robin Olds described it best, "As useless as tits on a Bullhog!" I never had any luck using them in WOV. Get as close to the target as possible, and make sure the target is not maneuvering for best chances of scoring a hit with the AIM-4. -

F-47N Thunderbolt Superpack for SF2
warthog64 replied to ChampionsVA56's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
It's too bad the P-47 never gets the credit it deserves, no other plane in WWII comes close to the Jug's war ecord. I'm a P-47 Fanatic and the only other fanatics I've met in life are former P-47 pilots themselves, yet even 4 year olds love the P-51 (Spam Can). The P-47 truly was the most valuable tactical asset available to the Allies! It excelled in both air to air and air to ground combat. Without it VE day may not have ever happened. The P-47 also played a major role in the PTO as well, yet no one seems to know this. -

F-47N Thunderbolt Superpack for SF2
warthog64 replied to ChampionsVA56's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
This aircraft and skins are awesome! I love the JUG As Wrench said, will there ever be a new and updated P-47D? I know I have asked this question many times before but figured it couldn't hurt to ask again. A new P-47D is needed as all other WWII types have newer or completely new versions for the SF2 series, it seems no one cares about the P-47D and a new version will never be made. Although the P-47D by Wolf is GREAT and by far my favorite flyable aircraft, it is now very old compared to everything else associated with SF2. So will there ever be a new D version, or should I just shut up about it? Thanks! -

What problems have you had with SF1 cockpits in SF2? Most should work fine but I had some position issues with WWII era cockpits. If this is the same issue you're having check out this topic http://combatace.com/topic/74088-cockpit-position-for-sf2/?do=findComment&comment=583609 -
