Well I got WOE all back up and running after my computer crashed, but there are some weird problems. No weapons show up on any of the aircraft, nothing whatsoever. Also the control commands I set all seem to look fine on the options menu, but during a mission when I push the button to select an air to air weapon it deploys the airbrakes or something weird like that. Any ideas on whats causing this. Thanks

My computer crashed recently and I lost my heavily modified download of WOE. I reloaded everything the past two days but when I Tried to fly a single mission I got an error saying d3dx9 was not installed. So I reinstalled it and now the game itself wont even start. I know this is more of a computer problem but if anyone has any ideas I'd apreciate it. Thank Everyone.

I should already know how to fix this but I guess I just forgot. My computer crashed and now I have to reload all my games. When I try to extract a file such as the F-15C to WOE/objects/aircraft it appears to work fine, but when I opened the page in windows explorer the F-15C was not there. When I tried to extract it again a window came up saying the file was already there, but I can't find it anywhere in the aircraft folder. I know this is more of a computer issue but does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I fixed the shimmering water effect for the terrain in WOV with the fix posted in the forum. However while the water no longer shimmers directly under the plane, in the near distance it still shimmers in all directions. Is there a way to fix this with different numbers, or something like that? Any suggestions. Thanks Alot.

Since I installed the Oct patch, I've noticed that the corrections the Sept patch made to Bunyap's Weapons pack aren't there. For example some weapons like the AIM-120A,B and AIM-7E-2 are invisible (have a LOD file but are still invisible!). The Sept patch fixed this but the Oct patch seemed to reverse it. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

Yeah I do, and the LOD files are all there. Shouldn't the missiles be showing then?

Where would I find the LOD file?

some weapons such as the AIM-120B do not show up on aircraft. It's on the plane but does not show up. Any Ideas? Thanks

When I started WOE today with the october patch installed I noticed something strange. First the game responds and loads slower than ever, and once past the loading screen the controls I set for the game are not what I set them as. For example when I press the Y key to see the friendly aircraft it targets the enemy aircraft, also when I press S to deploy the Airbrake it cycles through the Nav lights. I have no idea why this is, Any ideas? Thanks Alot.

I looked in the f-16 section and only saw block 30/32 and 50/52. I was thinking it may be on another site.

I heard from a friend of mine that there is an F-16 Block 40/42 for the thirdwire series. Anyone know where to find it. Thanks

I did install the patch over a clean install, but afterwards I put all the aircraft that I had on the modified Sept patch version back onto the clean Oct patch version. Could this be the reason, should I just add the aircraft back with standard downloads from the website. Thanks alot

I installed the October patch for WOE, and almost everything works fine. However there are no longer any sounds from the voices of Red Crown, or anything else for that matter, also none of the aircraft seem to have an afterburner plume anymore. If anyone has any ideas I'm listening. Thanks Alot

I finally got the terrain problems fixed, but today when I went through the ground objects in WOE I noticed that at ground level the ground is very blurry and consists of different shadded squares which move as you move. I didn't have this problem pre patch, is it just something associated with the patch or did I forget to do something after I installed it. Thanks alot.

How do you fix an airfield so that it does not slowly dissappear as you fly away from it, by this I mean that if you are even just 1.5 miles away the runway and tarmac slowly seem to just shrink in length. Is this a graphics issue? Thanks

Thanks everyone, I had to remove the mods, but by entering the data.ini changes it fixed the flashing, shimmering, etc. Oh yeah the static aircraft came back too, guess I'll just have to wait for a post-patch terrain update.

I downloaded the repaint of VietnamSEA, followed by the GreenHell2 upgrade. They made it look great in terms of realistic, but now everything flickers, shimmers, etc. The airfields flash, the water flickers, and the buildings shimmer. Also there now seems to be no static aircraft on any of the airfields. I know this is alot of stuff, but is anyone an expert at fixing this, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks Alot.

I know this has been brought up before, but how do you fix a flickering terrain. In WOV the terrain seems to do this, I had tried some of the repaints for the VietnamSEA terrains such as GreenHell2, but nothing fixed this problem, in fact the repaints and updates made it worse. Thanks

Is there a way to raise the ceiling of the clouds in WOE. They are very low, down around 1200 feet. Thanks
