I noticed today while flying an intercept mission, that what looked like a single tu-16 suddenly turned into two. I think what is happening is that two planes are flying in the same part of the sky and are actually "inside" one another. This is not a big problem but if there is a fix, I'd appreciate it. I just like having more targets, and getting two planes at once like this is just too easy. Thanks

Well everything worked well except that only one AIM-7 appears to be able to be carried. But I think it's my fault. When you say, "add the respective components to the fuselage". How exactly do you do this

Does anyone know a fix for the shimmering trees in the stock VietnamSea terrain, with the GreenHell2 update. I have tried many settings but they just won't stop that distracting shimmering. Thanks

Well due to all the problems I've had in the past I have recently re installed WOE, and finally everything works! So thanks again for everyone's help. But one thing that I have noticed is that although I have added many extra ships to my current install, I still only get cargo ships, or tankers when flying an anti shipping mission. I'm not sure if I have ever heard the fix fot this or not (if there is one). So sorry if this is an old an obvious topic. But if anyone knows how I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Well so far no difference, I placed the Desert Airfields in Libya but no parked aircraft yet. And when you say set Groundobjects to unlimited, do you mean the line that says GroundObjectDensity? Thanks

What I cannot find is the base .CAT folder when I click Terrain/Libya I don't see the little yellow icon where all the files are stored like the stock VietnamSea, and GermanyCE have.

Where would I find the cat files in the Libya terrain. I know the stock Vietnamsea terrain has them in the cat extractor. But I didn't see them for the added terrains. And Thanks for your help!

Well I just noticed that I was a little premature in thinking that I solved this problem. After I did the fix in the options menu I was only playing the Vietnam terrain. I just now noticed that although the vietnam terrain targets have been fixed, Libya still lacks static aircraft on airfields. Also the line I changed to get the Vietnam targets was GroundObjectDensity. I did not see just a line called groundobjects. Is there something else I need to do?

On my new vista computer my new install of WOE works fine, but every minute or so the game mutes itself. The game will then minimize by itself and the volume controls will open. All I have to do is uncheck mute, and then maximize, but this obviously shouldn't be happening, and it's very annoying as you can imagine. Is there a way to stop this? Thanks

I'm not a computer expert, as you can see. But how do you prevent this from happening, I made sure everything I extracted to the game was fully broken down to just the Aircraft, weapons file etc. So is there a way to fix this, because I'm not sure how. Thanks

Today I attempted to 7zip a file into my WingsOverEurope/Objects/Aircraft, and the file did not appear in the list. So I decided to just drag the file into the aircraft folder, and as soon as I did there was a compatibility files link in the aircraft file. I clicked on the link and there was a complete seperate install of the aircraft there. So I'm wondering why would the aircraft already be there but the name would not appear on the list, unless I drag it there. Thanks

Well I just downloaded catalyst control center but it does not appear to be anywhere on my computer, is there a certain folder to find it in?

Where exactly do I find these options, are they in the control panel?

I've been playing thirdwire sims a long time, and have always wondered one thing. How do you get the best graphics, and quality? I have a new computer, and I believe I follow all the rules for graphical, and video enhancements setups. However I have never been able to get my game looking like some of the images on this website which look incredible. For example I have done all the Terraindata changes for shimmering water, the problem of the ground, and buildings shimmering as well, post Oct2008 patch but still cannot fix anything. Also all the aircraft still have the odd shimmering pattern around their sillhouette's no matter what I do. I know I'm not an expert, and all this is probably just my inexperience. But is there an instructional article, or any fix for an inexperienced gamer on how to easily get the graphics up to these great standards? I don't mind how long any fix takes, that's fine with me. I've recieved outstanding help from the members of this site, and I thanks everyone. But if anyone can help with this one somewhat large problem I'd really appreciate it. Thanks Again Everyone!

Well the minimizing suddenly stopped, I guess I fixed it somehow? However now when I play the game the volume mixer constantly mutes the game. I'll hit the volume button to fix this, but it constanly keeps happening. Any suggestions? Thanks
