Just wanted to know if anyone knows how to fix open canopies. Also how do you make sure it is only tanks you are fighting in a CAS mission. Thanks

First of all just wanna say thanks for everyones help. I finally got everything working, however one thing that is still not working is that there are no static enemy aircraft at any base. At friendly bases there are tons of Static aircraft, so I know it's working just not on the enemy side. Any suggestions?

Yeah I made sure everything was gone before each re-install. After the most recent patch install, it showed that everything had been updated minus the Groundobject folder, not sure why.

First just wanna say thanks for everyones help. However I re-installed WOE and patched it again to fix the problem of the absence of static aircraft but now the static aircraft wont even install. Before under my groundobjects menu they were there but not physically in the game. Now they are Nowhere, and I've reinstalled again to see if it woked that time and it doesn't. Any Ideas anyone?

Thanks for your answers, however I tried changing the groundobjects file in graphics, and no matter what mission I fly, or which nation, there are no static aircraft anywhere. Anyone have any ideas?

I just got everything working right in the patch for WOE, however in the readme for the update it states that there should be static aircraft on the airfields. I do not have this. Is there a certain file you must edit to get aircraft on your airfields.

First just wanna say thanks for everyones help so far, however I installed the 9-08 patch on WOE and have followed all the instructions on how to repair the weaponsdata.ini. I ran it through the current weapons editor for WOI. Still no weapons appear on my loadout screen. I heard that you should change Israel to Europe on the weapons editor, but what does that mean exactly. If anyone has free time to give me step by step instuctions I'd greatly appreciate it. This may sound stupid but to get the weapons back into WOE after the 9-08 patch install it is said to run weaponsdata.ini through the WOI weapons editor. My question is what exactly do you do with the weapons editor to accomplish this.

I decided to put the A-7b from WOV into WOE. However when I downloaded WOV from the thirdwire store and put the A-7b into the WOE aircraft folder, it had no Data.ini file in the folder. Is there a way to either download a Data.ini file, or use anoter aircraft's one in the stock A-7b from WOV? Thanks

Whenever I play WOE the game works for ten minutes and then will crash every once and a while. It seems to happen when I play a Close air support mission, and I toggle to external view. But it also will happen in other missions as well. Is this a computer issue, or is it fixable by tweaking. If anyone has a suggestion I'm listening. Thanks

Does anyone know how to uninstall the WOE patch from 8-30-06. It has caused some problems and I want to get rid of it. Thanks

Whenever I open the F-16, or IAI Nesher on WOE the weapons loadouts are crazy, for example on the F-16c it says that four Agm-88s can be carried on each pylon, but just shows two during the mission, but does in fact fire four missiles, one carried inside the other. also the way the weapons are carried is bizarre. The Agm-65s are carried in a straight line on each pylon instead of on a triple ejector rack. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this. Thanks

I recentley tried to change the years of the missions in WOE to 2010 to be able to fly aircraft against 5th generation fighters. The game ends at 1985 for most aircraft. However after changing the options/singlemission.ini file to go to 2010, the game still stops at 1985. I've tried about everything to get it to work, and thanks for everyone's answers, but is there any way to fix this, or is it a computer problem. Any Suggestions. Thanks

I noticed that the stock terrains in WOE/WOV don't have a movement.ini file in them which allows editing of routes, I downloaded the Libya terrain and found that it had many files including the movement.ini. So are stock terrains not editable, or does anyone know how to get the movement.ini file for Germany/Vietnam Thanks

I recently added some ships to WOE, I can fly against the Soviet, and Indian ships fine. However whenever I try to fly an antiship mission in a Mig or Tupolev, the mission starts me overland, and takes me further inland. Plus there are no ships in sight. Does anyone know how to fix this, Thanks

I downloaded the typhoon and got it to work, however the pilot is sitting below the aircraft, does anyone know what the correct numbers are to get the pilot in the cockpit.

I JUST LOADED WINGS OVER EUROPE ON MY COMPUTER FOR A SECOND TIME. I REALIZE THAT T PERIOD FOR EACH AIRCRAFT IS ONLY UP TO 1985, IS THERE A WAY TO EXTEND A SINGLE MISSION DATE TO 2000 OR SO. THANKS
